While his father Megastar Chiranjeevi is taking Zumba classes to look slim and fit for his role in the most awaited comeback film Kaththi, Ram Charan is no less. Cherry too has been undergoing rigorous training for his role of a police officer in Dhruva, the official remake of Thani Oruvan. In order to get into the skin of his character and to look apt for his menacing cop’s role, Charan is hitting the gym to bulk up his muscle and is also undergoing an intensive fitness and diet regime. Cherry has been regularly doing cardio in the morning and weights in the evening, apart from cycling, sprinting and brisk walking. Coming to his diet, Charan has been consuming more protein through egg whites, salads and protein shake for breakfast. Charan then takes frequent mini meals and takes in a lot of white sandwiches, fruits, bread toasts with yogurt and drinking lots of water, excluding rice completely. Let’s hope Charan’s hardwork will pay off this time.

It only lasted for five daysdays Ram Charan will be essaying the role of a powerful cop, while Aravind Swamy has retained his role of a criminal scientist in this remake. Ravishing beauty Rakul Preet Singh has been zeroed in to play the love interest of Ram Charan in this action-thriller directed by Surender Reddy.
Ram Charan is undergoing a special workout regime for his upcoming yet-untitled Telugu remake of last year's Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan, which is currently on the floors and is being directed by Surender Reddy. "He has dived head on into training himself for the role. He has been training with an array of renowned fitness experts for his role and has been diligently training in horse riding, apart from working on his stamina and physique with a strenuous weight training and cycling regime," a source close to Charan revealed. He plays an IPS officer in the film. "The focus is on building a body that's strong as well as athletic and lean. While Ram has been trained in horse riding since his childhood, the actor is now taking it to an all new level, to be able to perform stunts while riding," the source further added. Also starring Rakul Preet Singh and Aravind Swami, the team will soon move to Kashmir for their next schedule, in which Ram Charan will also join.

While speaking on the occasion, producer Allu Aravind said, “Shooting is happening at jet speed for our film with Ram Charan being made under Surender Reddy’s direction. Ram Charan is working hard for the cop role in the movie. We are going to see yet another stylish making from Surender Reddy. He will be showing Charan in different look. Hyderabad schedule will start from 22nd and we are going to shoot some important sequences and an action sequences in a grand manner. We have planned to can crucial scenes in exotic locals of Kashmir from 20th of June.”
