Veteran Tollywood comedian Brahmanandam has given praiseworthy performance in many films including the critically acclaimed super hit 'Mozhi'. Owing to his popularity across South India, he has also been a common cast member many Tamil-Telugu bilinguals over the years.

Now Brahmanandam has been cast in an important role in Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's upcoming Tamil-Telugu-Hindi trilingual which will be launched day after tomorow. Brahmanandam will be sharing screen space with Kamal, Ramya Krishnan and Shruti Haasan in the film.

We can expect some more interesting additions to the star cast of the film.

The yet to be titled trilingual is going to be directed by T.K.Rajeev Kumar and produced by Raj Kamal Films International. Musical score will be rendered by Isaignani Ilaiyaraja

 

As we had reported earlier, the launch event of actor Kamal Haasan's next film will be taking place in the Nadigar Sangam Grounds on April 29. The event will be telecast live in the Ulaganayagan's Youtube channel from 8.30 am.

Now the inventively designed invitation of the launch function is out. The event apart from mentioning the date, time and venue has some unique Kamal Haasan touches. The striking headline says 'Meendum Varuvadhu Yaar Endru Therugiradha', a slightly twisted replica of the famous first line of the super hit song in Kamal Haasan's 'Viswaroopam'. A silhouette of a man carrying a gun with the US backdrop reminds us of 'Viswaroopam' and we will have to wait to know whether this film has any connections with the 2013 blockbuster.

The film is going to be produced by Haasan brothers (Kamal and his brother Chandra Haasan) under the Raj Kamal Films International banner in association with Lyca Productions. The film is yet to be titled and the invitation says that this will be the launch of the 41st, 42nd and 43rd production ventures of RKFI.

So is this going to be the simultaneous launch of three Kamal Haasan starrers? In a way Yes. The film to be directed by T.K.Rajeev Kumar will be a trilingual made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. Kamal has always insisted that in cases of his films made in multiple languages, each language version should be considered as an individual film. So you get what the invitation means. The numbers 41, 42 and 43 means the launch of the same film in three languages.

The film will have Kamal Haasan, Ramya Krishnan and Shruthi Haasan playing the central characters. Isaignani Ilaiyaraja is teaming up with Haasan after a long gap of 11 years to score music for this film. 'Thoongavanam' director Rajesh.M.Selva will work as the Executive Producer of this film.

The invite mentions that Kamal has penned the Story and Screenplay and there is no mention about the dialogues. Is it going to be Crazy Mohan? Well we will have to wait to know that.

 

The current debate that is trending all over the globe is which character Kamal played in one of his previous films will be returning in his next that is launching on the 29th of April in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. This has been fuelled by the innovative invitation design that is doing the rounds.

Sources reveal that the new film which also has Shruti Haasan and Ramya Krishnan in the lead will have Kamal reprising the no-nonsense undercover cop Vikram from the film of the same name released exactly thirty years ago in 1986. However the official word will come from the man of the moment himself in just under 48 hours.

 

Kamal's new trilingual film to launch on April 29

Kamal Haasan and director Rajeev Kumar, who earlier planned to start a film titled 'Amma Appa Velayatu' had put the movie on hold. The duo will be now working on a trilingual family drama, which will be launched on April 29 at the premises of Nadigar Sangam. The movie will be simultaneously made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The story revolves around father-daughter relationship, with Shruthi Haasan playing the daughter of Kamal Haasan. Music will be scored by Ilayaraja and the movie will be produced by Lyca Productions.

 

Southern movie lovers will be in for a huge comic treat later this year as two legendary actors are joining hands for their upcoming film. According to the latest reports from Tamil media circles, star comedian Brahmanandam will be acting in Kamal Haasan’s soon to be launched home production.

This as yet-untitled film will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam and it will have its formal launch event on the 29th of this month at Nadigar Sangam office. Veteran Malayali director TK Rajeev Kumar will helm this project, which has its script penned by Kamal himself.

Shruti Haasan and Kamal will be sharing screen space for the first time in this film. Legendary composer Ilayaraja will score the tunes for this film.

 

Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan will bring back one of his most loved characters from yesteryear in his next yet-untitled trilingual project, which will be officially launched here in Chennai on Friday (April 29).

"It's true that Kamal sir will be playing one of his most popular characters, and it's tipped to be hilarious. He will officially announce it on Friday," a source close to Haasan told IANS.
