Founded in 1899 by a group of Swiss, English and Catalan footballers led by Joan Gamper, the club has become a symbol of Catalan culture and Catalanism, hence the motto "Més que un club" (More than a club). കഴിഞ്ഞ ട്രാൻഫർ വിൻഡോയിൽ ബാഴ്സലോണ സൈൻ ചെയ്ത ആർദ തുറാൻ്റെയും, അലക്സിസ് വിദാലിൻ്റെയും ആദ്യ ബാഴ്സ മത്സരം ജനുവരി 6 ന് എന്ന് റിപ്പോർട്ടുകൾ. ജനുവരി 6 ന് നടക്കുന്ന എതിരാളികളെ ഇതുവരെ തീരുമാനം ആകാത്ത കോപ്പാ ഡെൽ റേ മത്സരം ആയിരിക്കും ഇരുവരും ആദ്യമായി ബാഴ്സ കുപ്പായം അണിയുക എന്നാണ് ഒടുവിൽ കിട്ടിയ റിപ്പോർട്ടുകൾ പറയുന്നത്.
