Will Nawazuddin Siddiqui star in Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif's Tiger Zinda Hai?

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are all set to start shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai next month. The duo will be heading to Morocco for the film which is set to be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

There have been no reports of the additional cast in the film but now it was revealed that Nawazuddin Siddiqui was approached for a role. But as per a popular daily, the talented actor has rejected the offer.

Talking about it, a source stated, "Nawaz has an interesting line up in 2017. He is currently shooting for Munna Michael and will start Manto in March. This is when director Ali Abbas Zafar is planning to kick start his next film Tiger Zinda Hai. He has even approached the actor for a pivotal role but Nawaz has given his dates to Manto, which is clashing with the other film. Ali is meeting Nawaz again this week to finalise things."

When Ali was asked about it, he said, "Nawaz is an old friend, I keep meeting him but nothing has been finalised on the film front."

If things go well, this will be third outing for Salman and Nawazuddin together after Kick and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

    What do you guys think?

Tiger Zinda Hai is a sequel to Salman-Katrina's 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger. The first part was directed by Kabir Khan and made wonders at the box-office by making to the 100 crore club.

Now, Tiger Zinda Hai is slated to release in December 2017 and will be reportedly clashing with Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanjay Dutt biopic

Salman Khan to lose 17 kg for Tiger Zinda Hai !HIMESH MANKAD | 21 Feb 2017
Salman Khan had bulked up for his character in Sultan and ever since then the actor has been on a spree to lose his weight.
Over a period of one year, the superstar came back in shape for his character of Laxman in Tubelight. For his next film, Tiger Zinda Hai, Khan is required to pull off several octane action sequences.
Salman has been sweating it out at the gym to get a lean look for the espionage thriller directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Sources have confirmed that Salman who usually weighs around 83 to 84 kg will lose around 17 kg before he returns as Tiger.
Also starring Katrina Kaif in lead, the film is expected to go on floors on 4 March 2017. Produced by YRF, Tiger Zinda Hai hits the big screen in Christmas this year.

Tiger Zinda Hai: THIS scene from the Salman Khan film will be shot in Morocco!

Both Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will be present...

Ek Tha Tiger is having a sequel. Remember you read it first on DNA. We had announced how YRF is planning a sequel titled Tiger Zinda Hai which will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
Now, the director along with his team has already gone on a recce for the film in Morocco and the pictures from the city have gone viral on the Internet.
But a source from the team reveals, "Ek Tha Tiger was huge. Tiger Zinda Hai is expected to be mammoth. For a huge film like this which is high on masala and action, Ali is going to make sure there's a powerful opening scene for Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's character. And he plans to shoot the entry scene in Morocco."

Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai to clash with Ranbir's Sanjay Dutt biopic on Christmas 2017

    #Buzzpatrol #Ranbir kapoor #Salman khan #Sanjay dutt #Tiger zinda hai

After the much-talked about Republic Day weekend clash between Raees starring Shah Rukh Khan, and Kaabil starring Hrithik Roshan, news of another clash is doing the rounds.

Deccan Chronicle reports that two huge films are eyeing the Christmas weekend this year after Nitesh Tiwari's wrestling biopic Dangal, starring Aamir Khan, made history last year by becoming the highest grossing Hindi film ever. This year seems to be even a better setting as the Friday is on 22 December, leading to a long four-day weekend till Monday, 25 December.
Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, who saw record-breaking successes with his last two films 3 Idiots and PK that released on Christmas, is looking forward to release his next, Sanjay Dutt's biopic, on the Christmas weekend as well. The film features Ranbir Kapoor as Dutt, along with Sonam Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in important roles.
Prepping for a heads-on collision with this one is Ali Abbas Zafar's action thriller Tiger Zinda Hai starring Salman Khan and Ranbir's ex Katrina Kaif, who happens to be Salman's ex as well. The film is the sequel to Kabir Khan's super hit 2012 film Ek Tha Tiger. However, Ali will don the director's hat in this one after his collaboration with Salman in the second highest grosser of last year, the sports drama Sultan.
It is interesting to note that both Ek Tha Tiger and Sultan released around Eid, which is considered an auspicious occasion for all Salman films. While Christmas is traditionally reserved for Aamir, the actor has chosen to release his next Secret Superstar around Eid in August, a week apart from Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Rahnuma, a romantic drama directed by Imtiaz Ali.
While Salman will soon start shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai after wrapping up Kabir's period war drama Tubelight, Hirani's Dutt biopic will go on floors on 14 February, according to the report by Catch News. Hirani has surely set his eyes on the Christmas weekend whereas Yash Raj Films, the production house of Tiger Zinda Hai, does not seem to back out of that plan either.
The clash may prove detrimental to both films. Probably the Raees-Kaabil clash this month will give them a good reason to reschedule their releases.

Box Office Prediction: Movies that will make Rs. 100 cr, Rs. 200 cr & Rs. 300 cr in 2017

The New Year has just begun and a couple of films have already hit screens, but the big ticket films are yet to see the light of day. Like last year, this year too we at Bollywood Hungama quite literally are sticking our necks out vouching for these films, which in all likelihood will be big money spinners at the box office.
So here are the films that we expect will be making it big at the box office in 2017. But, learning from last years’ experience, this year we have further categorized the films into segments based on their estimated box office collections.
    Rs. 300 crores
Tiger Zinda Hai: Salman Khan, just the actor’s name is enough to ensure collections well over Rs. 200 crore. Now, add to this, the fact that Salman will be seen on the big screen in a Yash Raj film, directed by filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar, the man responsible for giving one of last year’s biggest money spinners Sultan, and you know that Tiger Zinda Hai is already looking like a sure shot hit.
Coming to the film itself, Tiger Zinda Hai, which is a sequel to the 2012 film Ek Tha Tiger, will once again feature Salman Khan playing the role of an Indian RAW officer fighting crime. Going by the box office track record of Ek Tha Tiger, which ended its box office run at Rs. 198.78 cr, the film’s sequel that boasts of action sequences that will rival the first with an equally gripping story line surely makes it a strong contender for the Rs. 300 cr club. The movie is likely to emerge as the highest grosser of 2017.
Tubelight: The last time we saw Salman Khan being directed by ace director Kabir Khan, who has given us films like Kabul Express, New York and Ek Tha Tiger, it was for the 2015 release Bajrangi Bhaijaan. In fact, the film went on to collect Rs. 320.34 cr at the domestic box office alone.
Now picture the duo, viz. Salman and Kabir returning teaming up for yet another film Tubelight which is an Indo- Chinese production that also features Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, it is a no brainer that the film will be a sure shot blockbuster, aiming for the Rs. 300 cr club.
