Superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film in AR Murugadoss’ direction is currently being shot near Gandikota in Kadapa district. Apparently, some scenes are being shot on the villain at the Gandikota fort and Mahesh Babu won’t be part of this schedule.



In the past, AR Murugadoss is said to have shot few scenes in Kaththi in the same area. As soon as the news about Murugadoss’ arrival in Gandikota spread like wildfire, scores of Mahesh Babu’s fans went to the location to have a look at the shoot.

The film, which also stars Rakul Preet, is one of the most eagerly awaited film of the year and it’s slated for release on June 23 in Telugu and Tamil. Santosh Sivan is the cinematographer of this action entertainer.

 

It is a widely known fact that the shooting of Mahesh Babu’s new film is currently being canned in Hyderabad. The crew will be shooting in the city till the 7th of March. Once this schedule is wrapped up, the entire unit will move to Chennai for a brief schedule from the 11th of March.



The reports suggest that as the film is being canned in both Telugu and Tamil, it is taking a lot of time. Mahesh plays a cop in this film which is touted to be a social drama.

So many various reports about the title, genre and action episodes are going around but the makers are quite tight-lipped about this project which is produced by Tagore Madhu.

 

Megastar Chiranjeevi surprised the team of Mahesh-Murugadoss’ ongoing action thriller. Chiru landed on the film’s sets at Annapurna Studios where he was shooting for Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu.



Chiru spent some quality time chatting with Mahesh and his Stalin director AR Murugadoss and other crew members. Mahesh considers Chiru as one of his inspirations. Even Chiru shares a warm relation with Mahesh, while he admires Murugadoss’ genius.

Impressed with the output of the canned shots, the Megastar wished the film’s team for a massive success.

 

The shooting of Mahesh Babu’s next is going on in full swing currently and the latest update reveals that a part of the film will be shot in Hong Kong. Some stylish action episodes are being planned which will be shot in the famous city.



Some renowned fight masters have been roped in for these action episodes which will be choreographed on a huge budget. Before this, the unit will move to Chennai to wrap a brief schedule there.

Directed by Muragadoos, this film is yet to announce its official title. Harris Jayraj composes its music and Tagore Madhu is the producer.

 

AR Murugadoss’s film starring Mahesh Babu is fast approaching its finish line. Most AR Murugadoss movies like Thuppaki and Kaththi have smartly choreographed fight scenes which might even be concept based. For this Mahesh Babu project, it is said that, three stunt teams have worked on the action department.


Apparently, the stunt teams of Kanal Kannan, Peter Hein and Anbariv (Kabali) have all worked on this movie. Recently, the climax portions handled by Kanal Kannan were canned. Peter Hein is said to have had 30 days of the action sequence schedule.


This Mahesh Babu project, which had it’s shoot in Mumbai and Goa recently, will apparently have it’s final schedule shot in Hong Kong. After this one month long schedule in Hong Kong, the film’s post production work will happen in full swing. The makers are hoping to have a June 23rd release

 

TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT ON MARCH 10th

 

Ever since the Mahesh-Murugadoss’ project was announced last year, there has been a huge speculation over the film’s title. Titles like Enemy, Agent Shiva, Sambhavami and recently Marmam and Abhimanyu were rumored to be under consideration by the movie’s unit.

The latest update is that the makers will officially announce this much-awaited movie’s title on March 10th, putting an end to all the ongoing speculations. The makers are also expected to make the teaser release date official on that day.

This high budget action thriller is being produced by Tagore Madhu and NV Prasad. Rakul Preet is the film’s leading lady and Harris Jayaraj is the music composer.
