Dhyan Sreenivasan's new film set against the backdrop of cricket titled Sachin is set to release. Anna Rajan plays opposite to Dhyan. This is for the first time Dhyan and Anna hands together for a film and it naturally heightens the expectation of the movie. It is a romantic comedy movie directed by Santhosh Nair.

The film essays a love story under the backdrop of Cricket and definitely it is a fun thriller with a lot of humour and suspense which entertain all kind of audience. Dhyan Sreenivasan plays the lead male character and Angamaly Diaries fame Anna Rajan will play female lead opposite to Dhyan in this movie.

Anna Rajan turns to her third venture along with Dhyan. The character “Lichi” presented by Reshma in Angamaly Diaries was accepted by the movie lovers. Now he is busy with Mohanlal starer Velipadinte Pusthakam directed by Lal jose.

Aju Varghese, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Renji Panicker, Lalu Alex, Maniyanpilla Raju, Ramesh Pisharody, Hareesh Perumanna and Reshmi Boban are also featuring in some of the important supporting roles in this movie. The main shooting location should be in Kollam and high range areas including Punalur and Thenmala.

Sachin is bankrolled by Jude Agnel Sudhir and Juby Ninan under the banner of J J Productions. The film is scripted by director S L Puram Jayasurya, who directed movies like Angel John and Speed Track. Renowned music director Shaan Rahman composes music, both movie tracks and back ground music are done by him. Prevalent cinematographer Neil D’Cunha is employing the camera.
