Dinesh Vijan’s directorial debut, Raabta, now has a release date. The Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon starrer will release during the Valentine’s Day weekend. The film will hit screens on February 10 2017.

The official announcement was made through a press release and also on social media website, Twitter.

The announcement also says that the cast and crew are currently in South Africa, where the film has gone on floors. The shooting schedule of Raabta will be wrapped up towards the end of the year.

The film will be produced by T-Series and Maddock Films.

Kriti Sanon won’t have a film release this year. Sushant will be seen in ‘M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story’.

Kriti Sanon has been shooting in Budapest for her forthcoming Dinesh Vijan's film 'Raabta'. Budapest is freezing with the winters during this May-June period. And during this first schedule while rest everyone else is covered from top to bottom, our poor girl was required to shoot in her summer wear for a particular portion of the film; feeling the chills extremely.

However to everyone's surprise, the actress without complaining carried on shooting smoothly. Being a person who hates winters, Kriti turned out quite professional and gave her best shot despite the cold situation.

Shared Kriti, "I am someone who cant handle cold too well and I am not at all fond of winters. Wearing summer clothes when it's freezing is something I wouldn't ever do if not for my film. The entire team here is really sweet and they are always ready with overcoats and heaters around me once the shot is done."

Often we have heard actors experiment with their roles, Well Kriti Sanon is no different. And in her forthcoming film 'Raabta' she has a surprise for her fans. Having played girl-next-door characters earlier, Kriti will be seen in a very different avatar altogether in this Sushant Singh Rajput starrer. The gentle beauty is said to get into some action here! Revealed a source close to Kriti, "She is currently shooting for her film in Budapest, Hungary, and will return to Mumbai later this month. As soon as she gets back, she will start prepping for the action sequences." Kriti has already started her physical training in Budapest and will begin the shooting for these action scenes in July." She wakes up early and trains in strength building and flexibility," the source added.

As Kriti wasn't familiar with swimming and has huge fear to go underwater but for her upcoming film she has also learnt how to swim as the film has a water scene and that shows the dedication the actor has.

When contacted, Kriti confirmed the news, and said, "There are lots of things that I want to explore with the characters of my films. Action has always been one of them, and I am excited to get this opportunity now."

 

Rumors recently surfaced the internet that ‘Raabta’ actress Kriti Sanon being upset after the Item number was offered to the Diva, Deepika Padukone. Speculations were around that the lead actress in the film feared of being over-shadowed by Deepika. Kriti recently took to Twitter and cleared the rumors.

The actress wrote, "Just read this typically false story! We r all very excited about Deepika's song..and btw..She looked super hot!!".

The movie stars Sushant Singh Rajput along with Kriti Sanon. This will be the first time the couple will be seen together on the silver screen. The movie is directed by Dinesh Vijan and Homi Adajania.

 

The shooting of Dinesh Vijan's 'Raabta' is going on in full swing in Budapest. In fact, the team has been shooting in the beautiful city of Budapest since the past two months. Recently, the team had a surprise visitor there... And it was non other than the film's producer.

Romantic flick ‘Raabta’, which stars the new onscreen couple, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon, has wrapped up the main schedule of the movie. The 25-year-old actress took to Twitter and posted a picture with her partner, Sushant in Budapest.

Interestingly, Alia Bhatt was offered the lead role, but due to date issues she turned it down.
