It is already reported that Dhanush is all set is work for VIP2 which is a sequel to the blockbuster movie VIP. This movie is tentatively titled as Raguvaran is Back in Telugu.



Meanwhile, the formal launch of this movie happened today in Chennai to which superstar Rajini attended along with his wife Latha Rajinikanth and clapped for the first shot.

Being directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth this movie will be jointly produced by Dhanu and Kalaipuli S. Thanu

 

VIP 2 to be directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth kick started yesterday, the 15th December with the blessings of Superstar Rajinikanth. For late entrants, VIP2 is the sequel of the hit film Velaiyilla Pattathari directed by Velraj that was released in 2014. The first part had Dhanush, Amala Paul, Samuthirakani, Saranya Ponvannan, Hrishikesh and they will all be there in the sequel as well.



They were all present at the Pooja event yesterday. The character essayed by Saranya Ponvannan, who played Dhanush’s mom dies in the first part but she was seen at the function yesterday. This has created a lot of excitement and curiosity and so we talked to the actress herself to find out if she was just there to attend the function or if she was in the film.


Saranya clarified, “Yes, I am there in VIP2. For all those who wonder my presence in it, wait for the movie to release and find out!”
