Suriya’s ‘Singam 3’ to roll from December
The regular shooting of Suriya-starrer Tamil actioner “Singam 3” will start from the first week of December.
To be produced by 2D Entertainment and directed by Hari, the makers plan to release the film during April 2016. Meanwhile, Suriya is currently awaiting the release of Tamil thriller “24”, which is currently in its post-production phase. - See more at:
“We’ve finally zeroed in on December 2 as the day to take the film to sets. We wanted to start much earlier but things didn’t fall in place,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.


The third instalment in the highly successful “Singam” franchise will feature Shruti Haasan and Anushka Shetty as Suriya’s love interests.

Shruti Haasan to work with Suriya in ‘Singam 3’
Actress Shruti Haasan has reportedly been roped in for the third instalment of the “Singam” franchise. The film, which will be helmed by Hari Gopalakrishnan, also features Suriya and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles.

“Shruti is most likely to play the second lead. While she agreed to be part of the project, the paperwork is still pending. She’s expected to sign on the dotted line soon,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.


Director Hari had planned to include Shruti in “Singam 3” after he was impressed with her work in their last Tamil outing “Poojai”.

“The film is expected to go on the floors in September. Anirudh Ravichander will be composing tunes, while comedian Soori has been cast in an important role,” the source said.

Suriya, who is currently busy with Tamil thriller “24”, will join the sets from September onwards.

 

Actor Suriya has completed shooting for '24' and his next film would be 'SIngam 3' directed by Hari. The shooting of this third part of the blockbuster Singam trilogy was expected to begin in November, but the shoot was delayed due to incessant rains throughout the month. Last week, the team planned to start the film in Kolkata, but those plans were also dropped as rains are lashing out in the East Indian metro city too.



While we don't have an official update on when the shooting of this film will commence we have an interesting information about the role to be offered to the two heroines in the flick.

As reported earlier, 'Singam 3' will have two leading heroines Anushka and Shruthi Haasan. Anushka will play the love interest of Suriya in this film as in the first two parts. Shruthi Haasan would play the role of CBI Officer who helps Suriya's police officer Durai Singam character in his investigation and to nab criminals. There wont be any romance angle between Suriya and Shruthi in this film. Sources also reveal that Shruthi Haasan will have to perform stunt sequences for the first time in this film.
