Theatre : Kozhikode Apsara Show : 17th July 2018 , 07:15 PM (HOuse full) Plot: A Honest and Daring Cop Deric Abraham is hated by most of the superiors in the force. One fine day his brother lands into a murder case of his lover. Deric is handed over the investigation charge to which he puts his best and jails his brother (even though it is by compulsion). Is his brother the real culprit or is he framed? How deric can help in this forms the crust of the movie. Review : A simple plot just not enough to make a 2 hour long movie was prefixed with a serial killer case to add a bit of flavor and heroism from the mega star. Its my first megastar movie in theater since the debacle "KASABA" which was eid release in 2016. Unanimous postive reports from audience persuaded me to give this one a try. The reports were veracious. The movie brings back the stylish, powerful MEGASTAR who is still idloised by many. An optimal comeback for Mammooty for this eid. The movie began 20 minutes before the interval and keeps us tight to the seat for the post interval section. Mamooty , Siddique , Shajon and all others performed exceptionally well. A crisp editing and engaging BGM definitely calls for applause. Mammootys mass dialogues without facing the recipient invoked heavy response from the crowd. Costumes could have been much better . Action sequences were a bit unreal but the movie calls for that. Shajis direction was ultimate what could have been done with this plot. Its an over all mega star show that wont disappoint you at all. Mamooty confronting the press in the first half is one of a mass scene. The suffixed serial killing plot in the first half got nothing to do with the main plot hence it bites a bit of dust . Verdict: Super Hit. The movie had registered good number of family audience and applause's at the end of the movie shows this one is gonna make big in box office. Rating : 4/5
