C/O Saira Banu is a neatly crafted family drama. The solid performances and an engaging plot makes this a good watch. The film has nothing extraordinary to boast off, still a pretty good theme and an absorbing narrative pattern works largely in favor of this cinema. This can be rated as Manju Warrier's finest performance in her comeback, she skillfully got into the skin of the character and delivers an impressive show. The best part in her performance was absence the usual gimmicks which was seen in some of her recent roles, here she was sublime and restrained which resulted in this superb performance.Shane Nigam is another fabulous performer,he puts up a neatly controlled performance,Shane is really an actor to look out for.Amala was also fine even though there were some lip sync issues which slightly affected in her performance.Supporting Cast were good,Biju Sopanam as Subbu was really good with his performance.

On the technical grounds,Saira Banu is a fine product. Each and every aspect was perfect for a movie of this genre. The frames were good, special mention for differentiating both the halves by using varied color tones. The color tone used in the former half was bright and rich providing the atmosphere of a family drama whereas the latter half had a comparatively dark tone giving the feel of a courtroom drama.Editing was fine.Music is just average with not so impressive songs.Bgm was good, the tunes used to build to curiosity factor really helped in giving the right amount of intensity to those scenes.Antony Sony in his debut directorial venture showed some real talent crafting a decent cinema. He perfectly mixed some light-hearted moments, enough emotions and few thrilling factors making it an engaging cinema. To sum it up,C/O Saira Banu with its novel theme and towering performances offers an easy one time watch.

Overall,C/O Saira Banu is a Decent Flick !

    Verdict : Decent !
    Rating : 7/10
    B.O Verdict : Average !
