Date : 20/12/2016 Theater : Cinemax Time : 12:20pm Status : 70% Hacksaw Ridge is a cinema not to be missed - a true masterpiece.This one is a brilliantly etched out war drama with superlative performance from its lead man.Andrew Garfield puts up his career best performance as Desmond Doss,even his minute nuances were a treat to watch,this is indeed the cinema which took out the complete potential of Andrew as an actor - a terrific performer in all means.Supporting Cast were highly impressive with their performances,Vince Vaughn and Sam Worthington were the best among them. Mel Gibson yet again displays his directing prowess.This is undoubtedly one of his best directorial works till date.Its been 10 years since the release of apocalypto,his former venture as a director,the long wait for a Mel Gibson cinema was of course worthy.The technical team deserves a huge applause for making this a visually stunning experience.The war sequences were shot amazingly,the brilliant sound design along with the raw & fabulous frames made this a fascinating watch.Altogether,this is one of the finest cinema to come out this year,a compete edge of the seat experience. Overall,Hacksaw Ridge is a Masterpiece ! 9.5/10
