Date : 26/02/2017 Theater : Cinepolis Time : 3:20pm Status : 40% Apart from Natalie Portman's poignant portrayal of the lead character,Jackie doesn't quite hold up as an engaging experience.The confusing and the sluggish narrative pattern is indeed the prime factor which makes this an uninteresting cinema.Natalie Portman however delivers a spectacular performance,she lights up many of the scenes with her towering act.Supporting Cast doesn't have much to do,the biggest drawback being the poor characterisation. Pablo Larrain had a plot which could have made into a superb cinema,but the way he presented messed up the whole stuff.This looks more of a documentary rather than a biographical drama with very few incidents thrown in from the life of Jackie.The absence of engaging moments and a highly perplexing narration forges this as an average flick.Watch this one just for Natalie's dedicated performance. Overall,Jackie is Disappointing ! Verdict : Average ! Rating : 5/10
