100% Kabali is not the typical Rajini Entertainer nor it is the routine commercial potboiler,It is more of a Gangster Drama laced with enough punches & emotions.P.A Ranjith should be applauded for making this high on both entertainment & quality,Kabali will not disappoint you for sure.Rajini is just amazing,his charisma along with the terrific screen presence made the audience go mad - such huge craze for thus man ,Moreover - a subtle performer in Rajini was brough out superbly .Dhansika & Radhika were superb in their roles.Supporting Cast did their parts well. 1st half starts off with a bang,Things were perfectly set for Superstar's intro,then came the terrific intro which made the whole theater filled with whistles & claps.The proceedings were fine,narration had the right amount of pace the genre required.Interval Punch was just awesome.2nd half was fine except the climax,a bit more powerful ending would have made a big difference. Technically,Kabali is a good product eventhough the vfx works were not upto the standards.Dop is superb,gunshot sequences were taken amazingly.Editing is fine.Music is ok,the intro song could have been better,Maya Nadhi Song is the best.Bgm is superb.Direction by P.A Ranjith is good - rather than making a normal entertainer,he made it a fine gangster drama with his signature written all over it.Please don't enter thetheaters with a prejudiced mind,then you might end up liking this.
