Pandiraj's KKS is an oldfashioned family drama deeply rooted in Eastern tamilnadu culture. Gunasingam is a proud farmer and youngest son of Ranasingam, who tries to unite his big family consisiting of more than a dozen family members. Though the basic plot of KKS offers nothing new, its the engaging screenplay makes this movie a worth watch. First half of the movie is genuinely entertaining to its core. Soori and Karthi combination scenes have worked out really well. Second half also begins well and turns overly melodramatic to its end(which may go well with the tamil audience of B and C class). When it comes to performances, Karthi was simply brilliant. Sathyaraj,Sayyessha,Priya bhavani shankar and all others did their part well. Technically also , KKS is a well made film. Direction and screenplay was good. When it comes to the down side, the characterisation of the main antagonist may have been improved. Melodrama towards the end should have avoided. verdict:3.5/5 Karthi second consecutive after THEERAN
