Vijay Deverakonda's film with Anand Annamalai titled 'Hero'

Vijay Deverakonda sure seems like a busy actor these days, what with news of his upcoming projects hitting the internet every few days.

After stealing hearts in ‘Taxiwaala’ and ‘Geetha Govindam’ last year, the actor is all set to hit screens with his upcoming film ‘Dear Comrade’ with Rashmika Mandanna. The film which has been filming since long is also set to release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada on March 17. Mythri Movie Makers, who are producing the film, announced details of another project with the actor too.

Sharing the title of his upcoming film with Anand Annamalai of ‘Kuttrame Thandanai’ fame, the producers wrote on their social media, “Mighty glad to announce our Production No. 9 with @TheDeverakonda to be directed by Anand Annamalai in all South Indian languages titled "HERO". Shoot starts on 22nd April in New Delhi. More details soon.” (sic) The shoot for ‘Hero’ begins on April 22 in New Delhi and reports state that Vijay Deverakonda will be playing a biker in the film, even if this detail is yet to be confirmed. Just like Bharat Kamma’s ‘Dear Comrade’, this film too is set to release in multiple South Indian languages, including Telugu.
