Date : 06/05/2017 Theater : Pathanamthitta Trinity Time : 1:30pm Status : 70% Lakshyam aspires to be an edge of the seat thriller, but falls short of being such a cinematic experience. The basic plot was pretty good with considerable amount of twists and turns, but the execution couldn't rise above the script. The making was way too formulaic,it was a cliched narrative pattern filled with some loose scenes and below par cgi works. The performances were decent, both Biju Menon and Indrajith comes up with a fine show.Even though the characters doesn't had any scope to measure their acting mettle,it was indeed their performances which made the movie progressing.Supporting Cast were very much average except for Shivada, most of the actors were amateurish with their performances. Lakshyam is an average product on the technical grounds, the budget constraints were evident in many of the sequences. The frames were fine though it doesn't had anything worth mentioning. While the editing and cgi works were on a substandard note, the poor vfx made some sequences unintentionally funny.Music and Bgm were not much impressive.Anzar Khan being a debutante director couldn't make this a completely satisfying cinema,a little more effort could have made this a much better experience. On the whole,Lakshyam is definitely not a bad cinema, but indeed a wasted opportunity. Overall,Lakshyam is an Average Cinema ! 5/10
