Oppam | Review | Rajiv Nedungadi Theatre: PVR, Kurla, Mumbai Show Time: 4:15 PM Date: 15th Sept 2016 Status: 30% Mohanlal (Jayaraman), a blind person, is a care taker and lift operator in the building. An incident happens in the apartment and he is the only person who is aware of the culprit responsible for the incident, but as he is blind the police do not believe him. With the great performance by Mohanlal and a good direction by Priyadarshan, this movie is the come back of the combo. Some of the locations especially in the songs were brilliant, however the songs were not required. The little comedies were handled well by Harish and Mamukoya. Anusree, Innocent, Kalashala Babu, Kunchan, Arjun Nandakumar, Kaviyoor Ponnamma and the other artists did a good job even though their roles were not much. Overall its a decent thriller and a must watch. Positives + Good performance by Mohanlal + Good Direction + Mamukoya, Harish + Some locations Negatives - Songs were unwanted Movie Rating: 3.5/5
