Having watched many movies of Akshay Kumar....had surely expected Padman to b a superb movie as well... Akshay's Special 26...Toilet ek Premkatha...were the movies that made him different from the "only romance" actor....Padman too was a different concept...and to do this character/role needs a real salute..a standing ovation from womanhood! Theatre : Cinepolis, Mumbai Time : 6:00 p.m Well, the movie started with a soulful song by ma most favorite singer Arijit Singh....awesome lyrics that wud touch any gal and i almost conceptualized a hubby as near n dear as Akshay...ha, but then i woke up frm ma dreams knowing reel n real life r different... The theatre had 90% crowd...more being gals ...i cud hardly spot any men to watch this movie, which was a bit disappointing.....but some gals had enuf courage to get in their boyfriends for the movie...ahem, proud of those guys and gals who came together to watch the movie... Well, as the name states the movie is all based upon the making of sanitary pad at an economical cost...gvg much importance to women...their hygiene factor...the diseases that can cause in future....whole in whole a good message to the men and women in the society... Plus points is punch dialogues by Akshay...Radika Apte did her role well...Sonam kapoor had a small but meaningful role in the movie... And the highlight was guest appearance by Amitabh Bacchan ..who had gvn his best in a 2 min speech...awesome msg...awesome dialogues... I wud say ...a must watch for Men than Women! Women know their issues but its important that men get to know the women Rating : 3.5/5 Sent from my LG-H860 using Tapatalk
