Date : 06/01/2017 Theater : PVR Cinemas Time : 11:45am Status : 60% With nothing new on its premise,Passengers is a boring cinema in all means.This can be categorized to the list of movies which entirely depend on its visual grandeur and technical perfection,a movie with no substance to be precise.Both Chris Patt and Jennifer Lawrence have nothing much to perform,both the actors juts wander around the starship aimlessly.There is not much of a supporting cast in this flick,the two actors other than the leads are Michel Sheen and Laurence Fishburne,they are just brought in for the namesake of presenting a supporting cast. Passengers doesn't seem to be the work of Morten Tydlum who is the director of the critically acclaimed cinema "The Imitation Game".He as the director doesn't have a clear picture on what and how to present such a boring theme.This cinema entirely depends on its visual gimmicks,like all sci-fi flicks,this also has got some usual action scenes filled with neat cgi works.Altogether,Passengers is another boring take on a much tried and tested genre,go for this one at your own risk. Overall,Passengers is Disappointing ! 4.5/10
