Watched the magnum opus of this year pulimurugan from my hometown last week. First of all I would like to say.. There are generes for movies and we should have a mind set to compare the movie with the movies in its own genre.. Don't ever go for pulimurugan with an expectation of Devesuram or spadikam..this one is purely belongs to the category of mass masala and the movie contains mass only mass.. Nothing else.. Pulimurugan is a perfect example which can describe how an average script can become an awesome theaterical experience.. All credits goes to Vysakh and cinematographer Shaji for this visual treat.. The movie has a good supporting cast and the antogonist jagapathi babu also did well along with the main antogonist of the film the Tiger.. Finally the show stealer.. The wonder man mohanlal.. What an actor he is.. Yet again stunned to see him in this action avatar.. And he played this role with such an ease is an example for his ever shining niche skills to portray the emotions on screen.. The kind of flexibility he has in action sequences at the age of 56 made the audience awestruck.. On the negative side the movie could have been trimmed a bit by cutting down few unwanted parts where namitha and suraj involved.. This one is an action extravaganza worked big time with the star power of mohanlal.. Don't miss this if you can enjoy the movie regardless of its genere.. Verdict: As the tagine says 'The real (box office) hunt has begun..
