Theater: Chalakudy Surabhi Screen 1 Status: Houseful 4 Show: Morning show Thanks to Mammu pans....Athenthinanavo.. Story: Oohichathupole kaatil valarna oru Tarzan type kadhapathram aanu Pulimurukan. He has a flashback which cause him hunt tiger(puli,varayan puli..athu eduthu parayunnund). Then he has all the situations, which makes him exhibit his heroic avatar and those are the moments(almost all moments) for fans..and for Malayalees every movie lover is a fan of this man...The complete actor. A Malayalee who is in the age gap of 25 and above can really enjoy this movie, if he wants to see a mass movie. I felt scenes including Suraj and Namitha were unwanted at times, but those scenes are enjoyable for single screen audience. I understood this as I was standing in Chalakudy private bus stand and heard people discussing about the movie. The same screen is showing the other star of Kerala, Mammootty's movie and, people who are coming for Pulimurukan were told that no tickets are left for today. This could make the people to take tickets for Joppan. To say something about story, it is all about Pulimurukan's life when he is living to save people connected to him. He eliminates the negatives with his physical and mental strength and also uses his brain when needed. Story should be watched in theater, not to be read from a review, because it is mass and it has cliches. The fights are very good, and the lengthy one in climax was superb. Full of treat for fans and a good watch for normal viewers. Performances: Mohanlal: The complete star and actor again amuses people with his fighting and acting skills. Kamalini Mukharjee: I felt her performance a bit odd at times. But not bad too. Jagapathy Babu: He is a typical villian and did good. Iyaale sasi aakiyitilla..Telugil irakiyal avarku hurt akan onnum illa. Lal: A close friend of hero and his combination with Mohanlal was good to see in screen. Suraj: Some scenes are not much good, chalis, but required for a commercial movie. Vinu Mohan: I was afraid of him and somehow he did not disappoint this time with his usually bad performance.
