A couple of weeks ago director Shankar had confirmed that the entire shooting of his next magnum opus '2.0' has been completed except for a song and patch work.

Now we learn from a reliable source that the shoot of the final song will happen in Hyderabad. It is also said that the team has planned to wrap up the entire shoot including the patch work within the end of this month or the first week of April as the film's lead actor Superstar Rajinikanth will have to start work on his next film with director Pa.Ranjith from April 14, 2017.

'2.0' produced by Lyca on a humongous budget stars Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson and Akshay Kumar in lead roles. The film which is a sequel to the 2010 blockbuster 'Enthiran' is scheduled to hit the screens in October 2017 for the Deepavali festival.

 

Director Shankar is known for his larger-than-life films, but he seems to have outdone himself in his forthcoming sci-fi film 2.0. The film has Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in lead roles, and several top technicians have been working on the film for the past year or so.



The latest buzz is that Rajinikanth will be seen in five different looks in the film. While he’ll continue playing the role of the scientist and the robot, apparently, Rajinikanth will also be seen in a villainous avatar, apart from two dwarves. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar, who’s playing the villain, will have 12 different looks in the sci-fi drama.

AR Rahman is scoring the music and Lyca Productions is backing this Rs 400 crore mega-budget film. 2.0 is slated for release for Diwali this year in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

 

Ace director Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali- The Conclusion’s pre-release event took place last night at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The film’s audio album was also released at the event and it is getting superb feedback from music lovers.



Meanwhile, the film’s hero Prabhas, on his official Facebook page, posted each song of the album and specially mentioned about Dandaalayya song and thanked the music director MM Keeravani for scoring such a classic song for him. Prabhas also added that this will be yet another terrific song in his career.

Produced under Arka Media Works banner, the film also has Rana, Anushka and Tamannaah in prominent roles. The makers are releasing this visual extravagance worldwide on April 28th.

 

The pre-release event of numero uno director SS Rajamouli’s ambitious magnum opus, Baahubali The Conclusion, is underway at the Ramoji Film City. The film’s much-awaited audio album was unveiled during the event.

Expectations were quite huge on The Conclusion’s audio album as the veteran composer MM Keeravani gave an unforgettable album for the first version, The Beginning. Let’s explore the soundscape of Baahubali The Conclusion.

Song 1: Saahore Baahubali

Analysis: The songs starts off with noted Punjabi singer Daler Mehendi’s thunderous chanting, “Bhali..Bhali..Bhali Raa..Bhali.. Saahore Baahubali” and goes on to describe Amarendra Baahubali’s valor in what seems to be his coronation ceremony. The introduction part in the song hails the Queen Mother Sivagami Devi’s greatness. Keeravani’s thumping orchestration, Daler Mehendi’s explosive vocals and Shivashakthi Datta and Dr. K.Ramakrishna’s powerful lyrics make this song an instant earworm.

Song 2: Hamsa Naava

Analysis: This romantic duet between Amarendra Baahubali and his lady love Devasena offers a melodious treat to the ears. Devasena pours her heart out and displays her love for Baahubali in this number. This song must be featuring splendid VFX. Fans have been eagerly waiting to see the Baahubali-Devasena love track and Chaitanya Prasad’s poetic lyrics, Sony and Deepu’s mellifluous vocals overall will quench the fans’ thirst to the fullest.

Song 3: Kannaa Nidurinchara

Analysis:Music director MM Keeravani turns lyricist for this what seems like a lullaby in which Devasena sings for Lord Srikrishna. The song sounds quite routine and we will have to see if Anushka’s mesmerizing presence as Devasena will lift its significance on screen. Keeravani’s lyrics and Sreenidhi and Srisoumya’s vocals are adept.

Song 4: Dandaalayya

Analysis: This one is a heartwarming number. Rajamouli’s layered narrative magic can be felt throughout the song. While the first part narrates the pain of Mahismathi people who plead their king not to leave the kingdom, the second half has them celebrating his return/arrival, hinting that this song may feature both Amarendra Baahubali and Mahendra Baahubali. Kaala Bhairava adds depth to the song with his painful vocals and MM Keeravani’s tune is near to perfection.



Song 5: Oka Praanam

Analysis: Yet another heavy-duty number in the album, Oka Praanam seemingly narrates Kattappa’s heartbreaking betrayal of killing Baahubali, Baahubali’s sacrifice, the Baahubali-Bhallaladeva feud, Devasena’s distraught over losing her husband and son’s valoros fight etc. In one sentence, the film’s entire plot and a few crucial sequences have been glimpsed in this song. Yet again, Kaala Bhairava’s intense vocals and Keeravani’s rousing music make this song stand apart.

Verdict:-

Upon listening to these songs, one can feel the painstakingly meticulous efforts in bringing out an album which will surpass the fans’ expectations. Each song is richly filled with layers of the film’s drama and narrative. While the third song may sound pretty ordinary, the rest of the songs will surely go on to become chartbusters. On the whole, one can feel that Keeravani has put his heart and soul into the making of this epic album.

 

Hotshot Bollywood filmmaker and Baahubali’s Hindi version’s distributor Karan Johar had some pleasantly surprising words of appreciation for the country’s biggest movie franchise during his participation at the grand pre-release event last night.



“Baahubali’, 67 years later, has beaten the magic created by ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ on screen. Rajamouli’s cinema has soul, his personality has gumption and I don’t think I even have ten percent of it,” an exhilarated Karan said.

The shrewd entertainer further said that Baahubali is a result of immense hard-work and dedication, something which he will go back to Mumbai and teach his Bollywood counterparts about.

 

It is already reported that NBK’s 101st project under dashing director Puri Jagan’s direction has started a few weeks ago. The first schedule of the film was completed in Hyderabad, where a major action sequence was canned.



Now, the interesting updates coming in reveal that Bollywood bombshell Sunny Leone will appear in a special song in this film and Balayya will be seen as a stylish gangster who’s character is going to be one of the major highlights of the film.
