Date : 26/03/2017 Theater : Cinepolis Time : 1:00pm Status : 100% Take Off is a solid survival drama with perfect mix of emotions and thrills.With a stellar cast and an engaging theme,Mahesh Narayan in his debut venture has crafted a meticulous cinema.Performances of the three lead actors were simply outstanding,all three of them were at their best.Parvathy once again comes up with an emotionally striking and matured performance,she just lived as the character making it a marvelous act.Chackochan as Shaheed puts up a highly impressive performance,he was sublime and natural which made it one of his finest acts.Without any second thoughts,it is Fahadh who steals the show with his astounding performance,even his minutest nuance was a treat to watch.There is a certain panache and easiness through which he pulls off every character and Manoj is an add on to the list of his alluring performances.Supporting cast were really good with every actor delivering neat performances,Asif Ali in a cameo delivers a superb performance. Technically,Take Off is up there with the best of Mollywood.The frames were exceptional giving the movie a raw and realistic feel,even the blast sequences were superbly shot without any glimpse of artificiality.Editing was perfect,there was not even a single unwanted sequence which kept the away the dragging factor.Music was fine,Bgm really helped in elevating some scenes.Mahesh Narayan proved his mettle as a quality filmmaker in his very first venture.The realistic environment through which he conveys all the emotions and thrills indeed made this cinema a great watch.There isn't any deliberate attempt to commercialize nor to infuse the much needed patriotic feel,still the final sequences are sure to give you some real goosebumps.On the whole,Take Off is doubtlessly a breath of fresh air,this one is a must watch.
