Date : 13/04/2017 Theater : PVR Cinemas Time : 9:00am Status : 100% Cars, Guns,Chases and Gravity Defying Stunts - Packed with all the template elements,the eighth installment in the fast and furious franchise has everything that you expect from it.The performances of the lead cast were superb.Vin Diesel was surprisingly good in emotional sequences and there is enough scenes to cater Dom fans.Jason Statham was however the showstealer,he simply dominated the entire cinema whenever he appeared on the screen,the thunderous response received for Deckard Shaw was enough to know that he was the most anticipated character.The rest of the cast were fine. F. Gary Gray has done a decent job as the director.He has chosen the formulaic narrative pattern just like its predecessors,but the making was engaging enough to hook your interest.The action sequences were stupendously choreographed,the jail fight featuring Statham and Rock was simply the best.The soundtracks were fabulous and it helped in elevating many of the scenes a notch above.On the whole,Fast and Furious 8 is better than the last two outings and offers some decent entertainment. Overall,The Fate of the Furious is Entertaining ! 7.5/10
