Date : 08/06/2016 Theater : Pan Cinemas Time : 10:45pm Status : 80% The Mummy was doubtlessly one among the most anticipated movies of this year.The presence of some major exciting factors indeed made my expectations high,but sadly,the film was a mediocre stuff at best.Tom Cruise did his level best to make the proceedings interesting,he was beguiling like always,still it was not enough uplift this flick.Sofia Boutella and Annabelle Wallis were fine,however Russell Crowe was wasted in poorly written role. With a superb technical team and a bunch of talented actors including biggies.Alex Kurtzman could have made this a much better cinema.The film started off promisingly,but halfway through,it turned out to be monotonous with very few interesting scenes in between.The technical aspects were stunning,it was indeed the major factor which saved the latter half from being a total disaster.To sum it up,The first installment of the Dark Universe fails to hit bulls-eye. Overall,The Mummy is Average ! 5/10
