Movie Time, The Hub, Mumbai 6:45pm, 10% Based on a true event, Virus is a brilliantly made film that will keep you engrossed to the screen. It's not a mere documentation of the Nippah Outbreak , nonetheless, with layers of human emotions and tenderness submerged inside the story in a downright realistic way, Virus manages to push its territory beyond a survival thriller. An ensemble cast comprising of some of the finest talents of this generation, each and every actor comes up with a well nuanced performance. If I have the liberty to pick one favorite, I would go with Asif Ali for his flawless and poignant portrayal. Right from the word go, Aashiq and his team competently manage to put us in that plausible fictional zone. The production values are just top-notch, it indeed helps in attaining a texture of horror and jeopardy. Every department has done a laudable job in their efforts to present a bonafide story of such a humongous scale. In a nutshell, Virus is an intriguing cinematic experience !
