Since last year, the Mega family heroes have been setting a new trend in Tollywood, no grand audio launch events for their movies but only pre-release events. Sarrainodu, Dhruva, Khaidi No.150 and now Winner are some of the Mega family movies that didn’t have an audio launch event.



If the latest reports are anything to go by, even Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ongoing action entertainer, Katamarayudu, will be following the trend. The makers of Katamarayudu have reportedly decided not to organize the audio launch event, but hold a huge pre-release event to boost up the hype.

Meanwhile, Katamarayudu’s shooting is in the final stages and the entire shooting part is expected to be wrapped up by Feb end or early March. The movie is gearing up for a March release. Dolly is directing this movie, which has Shruti Haasan as its female lead.

 

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ongoing action entertainer, Katamarayudu, is fast nearing its completion. After a brief break due to Pawan’s political assignments, the film’s shooting has resumed in Hyderabad.



According to the sources, Pawan is quite content with the way the movie has been shaping up on the sets. Impressed with the way the shooting formalities are being carried out, Pawan is said to have decided to follow the same modus operandi in his future movies as well.

Katamarayudu is being directed by Dolly and produced by Sharrat Marar. Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead and Anup Rubens is scoring the film’s music. The film is expected to hit the screens as scheduled on March 28th.

 

The teaser of Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ongoing action entertainer Katamarayudu was unveiled a couple of weeks ago to a thumping response from fans. The teaser wiped out several social media records in South Indian movie industry.



Now, Katamarayudu’s teaser has created a new Tollywood record by clocking more than 7.76 million views on YouTube, with more than 2 lakh likes. Incidentally, Katamarayudu’s teaser has surpassed Pawan’s elder brother Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No.150’s teaser record of 7.74 million views.

Katamarayudu is fast nearing its completion and the makers are planning to release the movie in March.

 

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ongoing action entertainer Katamarayudu is currently underway at Ramoji Film City. The unit is canning a duet between Pawan and Shruti Haasan. Initially, the makers planned to release the movie on March 28th as an Ugadi treat.



But if a latest report published in a popular English news daily is anything to go by, Katamarayudu’s release may be advanced by a week and the film may hit the screens on March 24th instead.

Apparently, a majority of the film’s shooting has been wrapped up already and the post-production work is going on simultaneously. The unit is confident that the entire movie would be ready by the third week of March and this prompted the makers to advance the film’s release date. By now everyone knows that Katamarayudu is the remake of Ajith’s Veeram in Telugu. The shooting of this film is nearing its completion and Shruthi Haasan has revealed some very interesting details about this remake.



Shruthi says that so many changes have been made to the story and new things have been added to suit the tastes of Telugu audience. Shruthi also adds that Pawan Kalyan will be seen in a middle-aged character and will impress everyone with his emotional avatar.
