Actress Shruti Hassan has already flown to the sunny lands of California to join her dad in shooting for their next film together, Sabaash Naidu. The team will canning close to 75% of the film in the USA alone, and on return, will finish off the rest in Chennai.

The USA schedule will take place for 2-3 months. Kamal Haasan revives his own Dasavatharam character Balram Naidu for this film, along with Ramya Krishnan who plays his wife and Shruti playing his daughter.

Sabaash Naidu is directed by TK Rajeev Kumar with music by maestro Ilaiyaraja. Billed as a trilingual, it will be completed by the Diwali season of 2016.

 

Finally after the haphazard visa processing issues and several weeks long planning and preparation, the first schedule of legendary actor Kamal Haasan’s upcoming action comedy thriller, Sabhash Naidu, has kick-started in Los Angeles today.

This morning, Kamal tweeted saying that the shoot has kicked off and is going on smoothly. According to his tweet, a song is being canned on the lead crew and other dancers. Sabhash Naidu will be shot extensively in the US and Chennai. The team will return to India after a 2-month long schedule.

Sabhash Naidu, a Tamil, Telugu and Hindi trilingual, also stars Shruti Haasan, Ramya Krishna and Brahmanandam etc. The film is being directed by TK Rajeev Kumar.

 

Kamal Haasan's Sabash Naidu shoot kick starts today

The shooting of Kamal Haasan's Sabash Naidu has kick-started today with the canning of a song sequence. Sabash Naidu is a trilingual family drama, in which Kamal Haasan will be reviving his popular Dasavatharam investigator role "Balram Naidu". The team is currently in USA where majority of the portions will be shot. The USA schedule is expected to happen for 2 months.



Actor Brahmanandam will be playing Appa Rao role in Tamil & Telugu, while Bollywood actor Saurabh Shukla will be playing the Appa Rao role in Hindi. The movie will be directed by Rajeev Kumar and produced by Lyca Productions.

Legendary actor cum filmmaker Kamal Haasan’s latest film, Sabhash Naidu, has kick-started in in Los Angeles, US recently. The unit is currently shooting for a song sequence. Malayali filmmaker Rajeev Kumar is the director of this film.

However, Kamal is supervising the song sequence as he revealed on his Twitter profile, saying, “I am directing the dance as Rajeev is unwell. Hope he gets well soon @shrutihaasan @KunduNaiduRaw”.

Sabhash Naidu is an action comedy. The film also stats Kamal’s daughter Shruti Haasan and Ramya Krishna.

 

It is a known factor that Kamal Haasan decided took over the responsibility of directing a small portion of his latest film Sabhash Naidu as his director Rajeev was unwell.

Latest update reveals that he has now completely taken over the project as the official director as Rajeev’s situation has worsened. The unit is currently shooting in the US and Kamal himself is taking care of the responsibility in the absence of his director who is currently getting treated in the US.

Sabhash Naidu is an action comedy which also star Shruti Haasan and Ramya Krishna as the female leads.
