Pictures: Salman Khan Spotted While Shooting For Tubelight In Manali

Salman Khan is shooting in Manali in Himachal Pradesh for Kabir Khan’s movieTubelight. Besides shooting at Naggar, known for its quaint old houses, the film will have scenes of the majestic Rohtang Pass, the gateway to Lahaul-Spiti, and Solang Nullah.

This is the second schedule of the film, which will last for 4 weeks. Earlier, the second schedule was to begin in the Kashmir Valley, but it was deferred owing to prevailing unrest there, an insider said.

In July, the film was shot in Ladakh in Jammu and Kashmir.

Salman and the Tubelight team is currently in Manali to shoot for the second schedule but looks like the shoot here is in a bit of trouble.

The Phantom director recently took to Twitter to share a picture of the film set completely covered with clouds and wrote “We built a set 12000 feet high in the mountains. But when we went to shoot this is what happened #Living in clouds.”

Tubelight that also stars Chinese actress Zhu Zhu revolves around a love story set in the 1965 Sino-Indian war.

For the unversed, this is the third time Kabir and Salman have collaborated for a movie. Earlier the duo has worked on hits like Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

 

Salman Khan is currently working on his next,Tubelight with Kabir Khan. After the team wrapped up a 15 day schedule in Ladakh, the second schedule has now begun in Manali. While a few on the set pictures have been floating around, director Kabir Khan is making sure to keep us posted about their whereabouts.


He recently posted a picture on his Twitter and mentioned that the team built a set 12000 feet high in the mountainous region. Thanks to the fog surrounded at that altitude, they could not commence shooting.

Tubelight stars Chinese actress Zhu Zhu as the female lead. The film is a love story set against the backdrop of Indo-Sino war of 1962.

After Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Phantom, you are now doing Tubelight with Kabir Khan. How has been the experience?
Kabir Khan is a friend and it’s always fun to work with him. The one compliant that I have about Kabir is that he doesn’t make love stories. Since Tubelighthas no love angle, there are no love songs. Even Bajrangi hardly had any love angle. So was Phantom. So was New York (laughs). I keep telling Kabir Khan that he should have love songs in films, because, his films have become very challenging. It’s easier to score rom-coms because love, dance, happiness are very common emotions.
Has Arijit Singh sung for Tubelight as well?
Tubelight’s songs aren’t even locked yet. Abhi toh sirf first schedule shoot karne gaye and gaane sab idhar aane ke baad honge.
