Director Gautham Menon is presently busy with the shooting of 'Enai Nokki Paayum Thottaa' and the post-production of 'Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada'.

As far as 'ENPT' is concerned the team had completed a schedule in Turkey recently. The shooting of the film begun in a private Engineering college in Chennai and a few portions have been shot in Polalchi according to reliable soruces.

After returning from Turkey the next schedule will begin in Chennai. The shoot will resume in Chennai after the rains get over. The team will shoot in the city for a couple of weeks before moving to Mumbai for the next schedule.

The film stars Dhanush and Megha Akash in lead roles while Rana Daggupati is acting in an important supporting character. Sources reveal that Gautham has completed shooting 30% of the film.

Facing the camera is nothing new for director Gautham Vasudev Menon. In fact he has made us feel as if he is very much interested in acting as he has made sure that he appears in at least one shot in the films directed by him. He has made memorable cameos in the film 'Kaakha Kaakha' and 'Yennai Arindhaal' and also dubbed for some of the other actors in his films.

Recently the director was supposed to act in an important role in a Malayalam film to be directed by Vineeth Srinivasan. That plan had to be eventually dropped as the 'Minnale' director go busy with his directorial commitments.

But now if we have to believe the information we get from an unconfirmed source, Gautham is soon going to surprise us with a full-fledged role in one of his own films. And that is going to be a negative character.

We learn that Gautham is secretly playing the lead villain in 'Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta' which has Dhanush and Megha Akash in lead roles. The shooting of the film has been progressing on a rapid pace since March. Rana Daggupati is also playing an important role in the film.

Regarding the confirmation on GVM playing the villain role we will have to wait for some more time. We will keep you posted as and when things get official. Please stay tuned.

 

One of Kollywood’s most favourite actors Dhanush’s next Yennai Nokki Paayum Thotta, a romantic-thriller film with a lot of promise directed by Gautham Menon is in the final stages of shooting.

Joining Dhanush for the first time, director Gautham Menon is working round the clock to wrap up "Yennai Nokki Paayum Thotta" on time. The shoot commenced in Chennai in the month of February and later the crew flew down to Turkey and shot a few scenes and a song in exotic locations across Turkey.

Currently, the team is shooting in Chennai and the next leg of the movie will take place in Mumbai, which is expected to go for at least a couple of weeks. With this schedule, the movie will be wrapped up and the post-production will begin.

Meanwhile, the crew quashed earlier speculation about Gautham Menon playing a baddie in the film. Sources told The News Minute, "Gautham sir is not playing the baddie. He is too busy juggling between the sets of two projects, including 'Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada' with actor Simbu. Where will he have the time to act? It's just a rumour that's going around.”

SJ Surya was approached to play the baddie but he turned down the offer citing other commitments.

 

National Award winning actor Dhanush is doing some very interesting films off late. Currently, he is working with Gautam Menon on a interesting project which is currently on floors.

Latest update from Chennai reveals that he has agreed to work in a project which will directed by Tamil cinema’s trend setting film maker Karthik Subbaraj. He is the same man who has directed films like Pizza, Jigarthanda and now the recently released Iraivi.

Pre-production of the film is currently on for this film which will be made in a new genre. Dhanush is currently promoting his latest Thodari which also stars Keerthi Suresh.

 

Dhanush has just revealed that he has only 15 days of shoot remaining for Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta. The Gautham Menon directorial had its schedules across Turkey and Chennai, and will have its final schedule in Mumbai.

Gautham Menon is now taking a short break after the song shoot of Thalli Pogadhey, for sorting out his productions for the next calendar year.


The director will soon join hands with Dhanush for the final schedule of ENPT, after which he will move on to work in his multi-starrer project.

 

Actor Dhanush, who is busy promoting his latest flick Kodi gave one more good news to his fans.
As per the latest news, his next movie, Enmel Payyum Thota has also completed its shooting part.



Touted to be an action-entertainer set against the backdrop of gang wars, this film has commenced its post-production work also.

Being directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, this movie is produced by P.Madan. Rana Daggubati is playing an important role and Yuvan Shankar Raja composes music.
