കഴിഞ്ഞ സെപ്റ്റംബറില് തെരുവുനായയുടെ കടിയേറ്റ് ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്ന ദേവാനനന്ദ് സുഖം പ്രാപിച്ച ശേഷം നടന് മമ്മൂട്ടിയെ കാണാന് എത്തയപ്പോള്. കണ്ണിനും മറ്റു ശരീര ഭാഗങ്ങളിലും ഗുരുതര പരിക്കേറ്റ ദേവാനന്ദിന്റെ തുടര് ചികിത്സാ ചെലവുകള് വഹിച്ചത് മമ്മൂട്ടിയായിരുന്നു

 

Megastar Mammootty has come forward donating Rs 1 lakh to Lekha Namboothiri, who was admitted at Aster MIMS Hospital in Kozhikode due to spine-related problem.

Lekha Nambbothiri 31, a beautician from Chettikkulangara, after watching Mammootty starrer Loudspeaker, got inspired by Mammootty's character and decided to donate her organ.

Mammootty came to know about this and contacted her, promising all the help she required to come back to normal life. Pathanjali Herbal Extracts Private Limited managing director Dr. K Jyothish Kumar handed over Rupees 1 Lakh to Lekha on behalf of Mammootty.


Lekha, after the surgery talked to the megastar thanking him for the noble gesture and Mammootty, in turn, promised to meet her once she is fully recovered.
