Sultan became the fourth film to hit the 500 crore mark worldwide after its second weekend. The film has grossed around 367 crore in India and 140 crore in international markets. The figures are more than double of Airlift (210 crore) which was the top Worldwide grosser before Sultan. Below are the top ten all time Worldwide grossers.

The film will cross Dhoom 3 worldwide very soon and although the Dhoom 3 figures do not include the South versions of Dhoom 3 which were 11.50 crore NETT (14.25 crore GROSS) it does not make a difference as even with these added Sultan will go past it in the next 5-6 days. The film is probably heading for around 600 crore Worldwide business but US / Canada and UK can hamper as those markets are going to fall well short of Bajrangi Bhaijaan which just crossed the 600 crore mark.

This has happened before on first Tuesday, second Friday and now the second Monday Each time the film has stabalised later so same is likely to happen as its and established film. The film grossed around 4.25 crore nett on its second Monday which is 40-45% from Friday.

The total business of the film so far is a huge 267 crore nett and the second week seems to be heading for around 49 crore nett which will take the total after two weeks to around 278 crore nett. The third week will not see any major competition as the main Hindi release is Madaari which is unlikely to open well.



There will be huge drops down South though as the Rajnikant starrer Kabali will release and that film is expected to take those markets by storm be it Tamal Nadu, Kerala, Nizam / Andhra or Mysore.
