Sultan director Ali Abbas Zafar: Anushka Sharma bowled me over as female wrestler





Director Ali Abbas Zafar is full of praises for Anushka Sharma’s female wrestler avatar in 'Sultan'. He said "As the female wrestler on set, armed with an accurate accent, Anushka bowled me over," Zafar said in a statement.


Anushka is one tough lady, for over six weeks she put herself through a demanding and rigorous work out that lasted for hours. Anushka trained with three different trainers,her first trainer taught her wrestling, the second worked on her strength training, and she also had a physiotherapist who would do stretches and basic physical training to relax her muscles.


"To be honest, I was a little concerned on how much would she be able to manage in just six weeks. But I have faith in Anushka's complete commitment to her work. She has coped with a tough training schedule without a break with no complaints," the director added.Anushka plays Sultan’s love interest in the film, who is also a wrestler.

Salman Khan and his co-actress Anushka Sharma were off to Budapest for a small last schedule of ‘Sultan’. The duo, with Salman’s alleged girlfriend Iulia Vantur, seems to have had a nice trip as they were spotted at several locations in the serene city, Budapest. After the wrap, Anushka and Salman also enjoyed tram ride in the city.

The video on the internet was uploaded by YRF. Finally after the wrap, the actors are awaiting the release of their much anticipated movie. In Budapest, the actors had to shoot a scene important to climax and also a romantic number.

‘Sultan’ is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is slated to release on Eid this year.
