Sultan': complaint filed against Salman Khan, Ali Abbas Zafar



Superstar Salman Khan recently shot for his upcoming movie ‘Sultan’ in Morna village in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar. He also thanked the administration and people of the district and tweeted, “Filmed sultaan in muzaffarnagar,cld not hv happened vit out the support of the C M, people,film development Corp,police n admin. 2 much fun.”



However, it appears that not all people are happy with the shooting schedule in UP, as a complaint has been filed against Salman and the film’s director Ali Abbbaas Zafar in a local court.



The complaint filed by one Ehtesham Siddiq, alleged that the movie was shot in Morna area of the district but the location was shown as Rewari in Haryana. The plaintiff also claimed the people of Muzaffarnagar are annoyed.



The court has fixed May 3 for hearing the case, according to the prosecution.



The ‘Sultan’ team arrived at the location for the UP schedule on April 19 and began shooting the following day. Some scenes for the movie were shot in the local block office which was recreating as in Haryana but putting up a board with the state’s name. Certain people have apparently taken offence to those scenes.



Salman plays the role of Haryanvi wrestler Sultan Ali Khan Cheema in the film being produced by Yash Raj Films. It also stars Anushka Sharma and Randeep Hooda and is slated to hit theatres on the occasion of Eid this year.

 

Anushka Sharma, who will next be seen as a wrestler in ‘Sultan’, recently spoke up about how she prepared for her role in the film.

She said, "I had to do through intense body training to build definition and muscle. I am not heavily built so I knew I was working with a disadvantage. I had to beat peoples' perception that all wrestlers are huge. While researching I found that many female wrestlers were built like me. They are not huge and participate according to their weight categories."

The movie which also stars Salman Khan releases on Eid this year.

 

Salman Khan, Anushka Sharma in Punjab for Sultan, enjoy 'organic tamttar'

Salman Khan, who will be next seen in ‘Sultan’ alongside ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ actress Anushka Sharma, is busy shooting for the same in Punjab. Salman and Anushka can be seen enjoying desi tomatoes while sitting in fields.









Salman Khan will be playing the role of a star wrestler Sultan, in the Ali Abbas Zaffar directorial. After mesmerising the fans with Salman Khan’s stunning wrestler avatar in Sultan, the makers have released the second teaser which is all about Aarfa aka Anushka Sharma. The teaser of the film has been released on the occasion of the actress’ birthday.



The actress has already worked with the other two Khans and will now be seen with Salman in the film, slated to release this Eid.

Kabali teaser, which had released on May 1 at 11 AM, had crossed 10 Million views in YouTube in 3 days (71 hours). Previously, Salman Khan's Sultan teaser had 10 Million views in 6 days, which was considered to be the fastest.





Since both the movies are planned as Eid releases, it is interesting to see the early buzz they have created via teasers.

 

Before the movie ‘Sultan’ can hit theatres, it has already become the most awaited and talked about movie of all time. Seems like, the makers of the movie ‘Sultan’ are leaving no stone unturned to promote the film. They recently released a new still from the movie; in the pic you can see female lead Anushka Sharma seems to be a tough competitor to her opponent.

This new still was released by renowned Trade analyst Taran Adarsh, who took to Twitter and unveiled the pic with a caption that read, "#Aarfa aka Anushka Sharma in a new still from #Sultan #Eid2016 #YRF."

It’s not just this pic but in the teaser too, Anushka has very well proved herself to be the best choice for the movie. This movie is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and it also stars Salman Khan in the lead. This movie ‘Sultan’ is based on the life of a wrestler and is all set to release on Eid this year.
