    Suriya is Kathayin Nayagan, This is where Lingusamy failed.
    Hari was the only commercial director who understood Suriya and used him well. Hence Vel, Singam & Singam 2 worked.
    After Hari, Vignesh Shivn repeats the magic.
    From mass to class, Thaanaa Serndha Koottam is a wholesome entertainer because it manages to strike the right chords both in emotional and entertainment quotients. Suriya is flawless here and he has finally managed to keep his NVOK dialogue modulation controlled to a great extent.
    Ramya Krishnan, Senthil etc. and even RJ Balaji was good in his guest role. Anirudh's Rerecording is a highlight along with the production design and cinematography. TSK is technically slick.
    On the downside, 2nd half could have been better especially the heist scenes. Keerthy Suresh is irritating but is more bearable than Samantha (Anjaan,24) & Shruti Haasan (S3) as she has less screen time.
    (3.5/5) : A Honest story driven commercial entertainer, TSK works because of Vignesh Shivn's proper packaging. His style is both fresh and universally appealing.
