The short lived Pongal biggies, Thaanaa Serndha Koottam and Sketch have come to its business closure making a poor festival harvest for Tamil box office. TSK ended up its Worldwide gross at a disappointing ₹93.84 crore which is even less than his previous outings 24 and Singam 3, both which grossed little over ₹100 crore.

Coming to its detailed analysis TSK was sold for around ₹36.5 crore with Print and Publicity costs in Tamil Nadu where it could do only ₹23 crore as final share incurring loss of around ₹13 crore. Same was the case in Kerala where it could gain only ₹2.4 crore against its pre-release business of ₹3.80 crore.It was an own release in Karnataka, but again the performance was underwhelming.



In the overseas front it was sold for a fair price of ₹13 crore where it could just gross ₹22.62 crore (US $3.55 mn) with a closing share of ₹10.20 crore. TSK was Good in USA managing Half a Million but failed to perform to its expectations in other key overseas markets such as Malaysia where TSK couldn't cross even MYR 4 mn mark.
