He meets Malavika in the process. They get to know that some family curse and astral projections involved in it. How does Shiva deal with the ghost? Why is the ghost residing in Shiva’s car? Will it accomplish its vendetta? Taxiwala Review: Taxiwala is billed to be paranormal thriller. First half is filled with some fun moments on family and romance backdrop. Comedy is created with spooky elements. Leisurely, story gets into the actual theme. Shiva’s antics with the ghost are chuckle some. Some surprising twists creates suspense. The film gets racy as the mystery starts unfolding in the second half. Flashback episodes and the conflict point are convincing. Director should have gone deeper into concept of astral projections and stuff to make it more impactful. Film gets somewhat predictable and hence dragged towards the climax but its dealt with novelty. Technically, Taxiwala is well made. Cinematography is top-notch. VFX is okay to the limited scope. Racy music enhances the creepy feel. Direction is decent. Vijay Devarakonda is cool with his attitude and style. He fuels the thriller feel with his intense performance. Priyanka Jawalkar is here to stay. Malavika is apt in her role.
