Karthi’s cop action thriller with Sathuranga Vettai director Vinod has been titled as ‘Dheeran Adhigaram Ondru’. Apparently Karthi plays an investigative cop in the film and his name is Dheeran while the title suggests that the team is also planning to have sequels in the future. To be produced by SR Prabhu’s Dream Warrior Pictures, Rakul Preet Singh has been confirmed to play the female lead in the film while the rest of the cast and crew will be confirmed soon. Karthi is currently busy shooting for Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai in Belgrade and he is expected to commence Dheeran Adhigaram Ondru from January 2017.
