As the year comes to an end, we take a look at the leading ladies who rocked the Kollywood box office with their sizzling beauty and talent. Anandhi The 'Kayal' actress' Chandi Veeran' failed to make an impression, but her adult comedy with G.V.Prakash Kumar went on to become a super hit, though she was also embroiled in a controversy over the content of the film with director Adik Ravichandran. Kajal Agarwal A mixed year for Kajal as she had one hit 'Maari' and a underwritten role in the forgettable 'Paayum Puli' Samantha The talented beauty faced a huge disappointment as her much hyped '10 Endradhukulla' in which she did dual roles failed miserably at the box office but she made up for it by turning in a great performance as Dhanush's middle class wife in 'Thangamagan' Aishwarya Rajesh A great year for young Aishwarya Rajesh who has been an integral of the internationally acclaimed 'Kaaka Muttai'. Though the point of focus in the film is the two child artistes, the talented Aishwarya shines as the slum mother and she is one girl to look out for in the coming years. Nandita Shwetha A chance to play a cameo as Vijay's pair in 'Puli' must have been personally elating for Nandita who had a good outing in the central character of a talentless actress in the delightful 'Uppu Karuvadu'.
