Pranav Mohanlal heads to the Himalayas

For those anticipating Pranav Mohanlal to make his presence in TV, radio and print doling out interviews and revealing the side of him that has remained a mystery for many, don't hold your breath. The actor won't be staying back for the promotions of Aadhi , his maiden venture as a hero, as he would be resuming his passion for travelling.

The movie's director Jeethu Joseph tells us, "Pranav is all set to head to the Himalayalas. From the onset itself, he made it clear that he won't be here for the promotions or other activities related to the film."

The movie's latest trailer, which has the actor performing some action scenes, gives a glimpse of what the audience can expect. However, Jeethu says, "If they are going to come to the theatres expecting a film heavy on action, they are setting themselves up to be disappointed. The action in the film is very realistic; not the usual stunts that you would associate with a 'mass film'. The movie also revolves around a family and has those emotions which form the core of the movie."

Jeethu has been a strong believer of the audience not bringing preconceived notions into the theatres. Ask him if the movie lived up to his expectations and the filmmaker says, "I think even Steven Spielberg would say that he wanted to do more with his movie. But I believe Aadhi has turned out to be a good film. We have done whatever we could within our limitations."
