The Hindi releases were led by the holdover Baaghi as it grossed 12.50 crore nett in its second week taking its two wek totalk to 72 crore nett. The film is a hit and the only Hindi film of the year so far to do well all over. The next best was 1920 London which grossed 12.25 crore nett in week one and did average business at select mass centres.



This film for some weird reason was actually released Overseas on decent number of screens and it never had a chance. The film will not even cover release costs in Overseas.



The other releases One Night Stand and Traffic were dull as the former grossed 3-3.25 crore nett and the latter 3.25-3.50 crore nett. Traffic did pick up with such low starting point it makes little difference.

Baaghi, plundered its way into the box office and sidelined Shahrukh Khan's Fan and Hollywood's The Jungle Book, and ended up making a huge amount of 72.42 Crores at the box office. The film-makers threw a success bash and Bollywood stars Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Shahid Kapoor and several others attended the party and congratulated Tiger Shroff & Shraddha Kapoor.

Stars such as Sunil Shetty, Athiya Shetty, Farah Khan, Boman Irani, Randeep Hooda, Bobby Deol, Arbaaz Khan, Sooraj Pancholi, Tabu, Sudheer Babu and Shaurya Bharadwaj also attened the Baaghi success bash.

Baaghi, was made on a budget of 35 Crores and the movie has raked in double amount as profit. Crictics, wrote off the movie as a 'casual entertainer' before its release and after the movie was released, things turned towards Baaghi's favour as the film had a strong storyline and amazing action-packed scenes.



After the success of Baaghi, producer Sajid Nadiadwala has decided to make the film into a franchise just like Hollywood films such as Rocky and Rambo. The second part of Baaghi is in the pipeline, and Sajid Nadiadwala confirmed that Tiger Shroff will be a part of the sequel, but Shraddha Kapoor might be replaced.



Sajid Nadiadwala, also confirmed that director Sabbir Khan would also be part of the sequel and the duo are very comfortable working together.
