Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s latest release Sarrainodu is running successfully across the Telugu states, and the makers are thrilled with the film becoming a hit despite the initial backlash. In a recently held success meet, Allu Arjun was all praise for his director, Boyapati Sreenu.

Bunny said that he always loved commercial films and that he had requested Boyapati to show him in a total massy avatar. The actor says that he is happy with the way his wish and purpose of doing Sarrainodu were fulfilled eventually. The Stylish Star further thanked his director for giving him a hit film.

Bunny also heaped praises on his nemesis in the film, Aadhi Pinisetty, saying that Aadhi took the risk of doing a negative role despite being a lead hero in Tamil and pulled it off with aplomb.

Allu Arjun achieves a rare feat in Nizam


Stylish Star Allu Arjun has achieved a rare feat of scoring six back-to-back Rs.10 crore share films in the Nizam territory, starting from Julayi. Bunny’s latest film, Sarrainodu, has collected Rs.10.60 crore share at the end of its sixth day run in Nizam.

The solid run of Sarrainodu can be termed a miraculous feat as the film braved the initial backlash it received from mixed critics reviews and average word of mouth. The film is fully utilizing the summer holidays advantage and is racing towards becoming yet another hit in Bunny’s career.

This mass action entertainer was directed by Boyapati Sreenu and produced by Allu Aravind. Catherine Tresa and Rakul Preet are the film’s leading ladies.

Allu Arjun's Sarainodu is holding strong at the box-office with good word of mouth and is especially doing great in B and C centers, considering the mass elements stuffed in the movie and the 'Boyapati' factor.

According to the numbers released by the film's PR team, it collected a total share of 31.80 Cr in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone, after its 6 days of release, while it collected $729k in USA after Monday.

Talking at the success meet of the movie, the other day, Allu Arjun admitted that he chose to work with Boyapati, only to strengthen his image in the masses and he thanked the director for fulfilling his goal.

Producer Allu Aravind added that, he believed in the team and hence drawing profits now. Allu Arjun expressed his happiness for finally scoring a hit in his home banner, at the third attempt.

 

Boyapati Sreenu seems to have pulled off the impossible. His latest film ‘Sarrainodu’ is pulling in strong revenues irrespective of the mouth talk on Day 1 and the poor critical reception. This has only made brand Boyapati stronger and he is now getting very good offers from producers.

Boyapati has managed to successfully beat the odds three times now. He did it twice with Balakrishna for ‘Simha’ and ‘Legend’, as both films managed to collect way more than anyone ever predicted. Now, his latest film ‘Sarrainodu’ seems to be doing the same.

This commercial director is now going to make a film with Bellamkonda Srinivas next and he has an offer to direct a major star once again after that project.

 

It’s been a week since Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Sarrainodu hit the screens and with no major competition, the flick is still doing strong in almost all the centers across the two Telugu states.
