Few films surprise the way Sarrainodu has. By grossing over Rs. 100 cr, this Allu Arjun actioner has become the eigth film in the history of Tollywood to accomplish a rare feat. The Stylish Star's film has become the second best, collections-wise, in his career, after the super-hit Race Gurram (2014). As for S/O Satyamurthy, it comes a distant third in terms of 14-days share.

The share till date is more than Rs. 62 cr, which is phenomenal, considering that Sarrainodu didn't open to unequivocal reviews when it hit the screens on April 22. Right from the dialogues to Arjun's heroism and Aadhi Pinisetty's villainy, everything has done the magic. Thaman's super-duper songs (read 'Blockbuster', 'Thelusa Thelusa' and 'Athi Loka Sundari') are pulling the audience to the theatres, especially those who see the Stylish Star as the best dancer in the town.

Even in the second week, the film held its ground. In terms of records for 14 days, this film has a non-pareil in Bunny's 'blockbuster' career. The film has been going great guns especially in Nizam territory. Ceded area is another area where the Stylish 'Sarrainodu' has been ruling the roost. In Uttarandhra region, the film's BO performance is next only to Baahubali's - the second highest share of Rs. 6.8 cr. In the next 2-3 days, it will have crossed Rs. 7 cr. So, it's nothing less than a scorcher over there.

Now in the third week, the film's occupancy percentage is reportedly admirable.

 

With each passing day, the collections coming in for Allu Arjun’s Sarrainodu are pretty impressive. The figures in several areas are the highest in Allu Arjun’s career so far.

Latest update reveals that the films has collected a total share on 9.8 crores in the ceded area till date. The film worked magic with the mass audience who made this film a huge blockbuster.

Allu Arjun and company proved many wrong with the thumping success of their latest film Sarrainodu. The film which was slammed by the critics went on to cross the 100 gross mark and stood in the top five list of all time grossers in Telugu films.

The film has already crossed the 60 crore share and brought huge revenues for all those associated with it. Interesting aspect is that the film is now the second highest in collections after Baahubali in certain areas like Vizag and ceded.

Trade pundits also reveal that the film is still managing to collect revenues in many areas of both AP and Telangana. Boyapati’s direction, Bunny’s mass avatar and adrenaline pumping thrills have ensured this film a huge success.

The news is that Sarrainodu has joined the coveted club of Tollywood's five top-most grossers by crossing Rs. 100 cr (gross) and Rs. 63 cr in share. The other four are Baahubali, Srimanthudu, Magadheera and Attarintiki Daredi. So far in 2016, it's the biggest grosser. It needs a share of another Rs. 10 cr to outpace the record set by Pawan Kalyan's AD.

In the Telugu States alone, the mass action-drama entertainer has raked in a huge sum of Rs 52 cr.
