By now, everyone knows that Mahesh Babu will be doing a film with A R Muragadoss. The shooting of the film is also going to start soon but the news which has created a good buzz is that Bollywood star Akshay Kumar will be playing the main villain in the film.

Latest update from Chennai reveals that Akshay will not be doing any role and all the so called reports are just baseless. This news was confirmed by the director Muragadoss himself earlier today in Chennai.

Touted to be a social drama, the heroine and other details about the star cast for the film is yet to be revealed. Watch out this space for more updates on this project.

 

Some time back, we had reported that AR Murugadoss is busy wrapping up the pre-production of his latest film with Mahesh Babu. Latest update reveals that the film will kick start on the 19th of July in Hyderabad with a song shoot.

The social drama will be made on a mammoth budget of nearly eighty crores. The film will be shot in a span of six months and Mahesh is reported to be seen in a serious role unlike his last few films.

The female lead and other details of the film will be revealed soon.

Mahesh Babu-Murugadoss film to kickstart with a song!!

After the Brahmostavam debacle, Telugu star Mahesh Babu is leaving no stones unturned to make his next project a grand success. He is gearing up for the launch of his Tamil-Telugu bilingual with ace director Murugadoss. The film is said to be a big budget action entertainer and the team has already started erecting sets for the police drama. Mahesh will be sporting a khaki look and the first schedule will begin with a song.

Meanwhile, there was a buzz that the makers have approached 2.0 villain Akshay Kumar and SJ Suryah to play the baddies while Bollywood lass Parineeti Chopra will be the leading lady. However, we hear that Akshay will not be a part of the film and Suryah will play the villain.
