ഇന്ന് കേരളത്തിൽ റിലീസ് ചെയ്ത മലയാള ചിത്രങ്ങളിലൊന്നാണ് പ്രശസ്ത സംവിധായകൻ രഞ്ജിത് ശങ്കർ തിരക്കഥ രചിച്ചു സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത രാമന്റെ ഏദൻ തോട്ടം . ഡ്രീം ആൻഡ് ബീയോണ്ട് എന്ന ബാനറിൽ രഞ്ജിത് ശങ്കർ തന്നെ നിർമ്മിച്ച ചിത്രമാണ് രാമന്റെ ഏദൻ തോട്ടം. ഇതിനു മുൻപ് രഞ്ജിത് ശങ്കർ നിർമ്മാണ പങ്കാളിയായി വന്ന പുണ്യാളൻ അഗർബത്തീസ്. സു സു സുധി വാത്മീകം, പ്രേതം തുടങ്ങിയ ചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ ജയസൂര്യ ആയിരുന്നു നായകൻ. എന്നാൽ രാമന്റെ ഏദൻ തോട്ടമെന്ന ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൽ നായക വേഷമവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു കുഞ്ചാക്കോ ബോബൻ ആണ്. അനു സിതാരയാണ് ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൽ നായിക വേഷത്തിലെത്തുന്നത്.
കുഞ്ചാക്കോ ബോബൻ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന രാമൻ എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന കഥാപാത്രത്തിന് ചുറ്റുമാണ് ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ കഥ വികസിക്കുന്നത്. 500 ഏക്കർ സ്ഥലത്തു ഒരു റിസോർട്ടിന്റെ ഉടമയാണ് രാമൻ. മൊബൈൽ റേഞ്ച് പോലും കിട്ടാത്ത അത്ര ഉൾനാടൻ പ്രദേശമാണത്. അങ്ങനെയുള്ള രാമന്റെ ഏദൻ തോട്ടത്തിലേക്ക് മെട്രോ സിറ്റിയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള മാലിനിയെന്ന ഒരു പെൺകുട്ടി കടന്നു വരുന്നതും തുടന്ന് രാമന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന സംഭവ വികാസങ്ങളുമാണ് ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ ഇതിവൃത്തം. മാലിനി വിവാഹിതയാണ് ഒരു കുട്ടിയുടെ അമ്മയുമാണ്. മാലിനിക്കും രാമനുമിടയിൽ രൂപം കൊള്ളുന്ന സവിശേഷമായ ബന്ധമാണ് ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ കഥയുടെ കേന്ദ്രബിന്ദു.
ആദ്യ ചിത്രമായ പാസ്സഞ്ചർ മുതൽ അവസാനമിറങ്ങിയ പ്രേതം വരെ വ്യത്യസ്തമായ തലങ്ങളിലൂടെ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന ചിത്രങ്ങൾ നമ്മുക്ക് തന്ന സംവിധായകനാണ് രഞ്ജിത് ശങ്കർ. പ്രണയത്തിനു പ്രാധാന്യം നൽകിയുള്ള ഒരു ചിത്രം ആദ്യമായാണ് രഞ്ജിത് ശങ്കർ ഒരുക്കുന്നത് . രാമന്റെ ഏദൻ തോട്ടം അത്തരത്തിൽ ഒരു പുതിയ അനുഭവം പകർന്നു തരുന്ന ചിത്രമാണ്. എന്നാൽ പ്രണയം എന്ന് പറയുമ്പോൾ ചുമ്മാ ഒരു പ്രേമവും അതിനെ ചുറ്റിപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള കുറച്ചു ക്ളീഷേ കഥാ സന്ദർഭങ്ങളും മാത്രം ഒരുക്കാതെ വളരെ വ്യത്യസ്തമായ ഒരു കഥാ പശ്ചാത്തലമൊരുക്കിയ രഞ്ജിത് ശങ്കർ, തന്റെ കയ്യൊപ്പു ഈ ചിത്രത്തിലും ചാർത്തി എന്നത് എഴുത്തുകാരൻ എന്ന നിലയിലും സംവിധായകൻ എന്ന നിലയിലുമുള്ള ഈ പ്രതിഭയുടെ വിജയമാണ്. പ്രേക്ഷകനെ രസിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനൊപ്പം കാമ്പുള്ള ഒരു കഥയും പറയാൻ സാധിച്ചു എന്നിടത്താണ് രാമന്റെ ഏദൻ തോട്ടം മനോഹരമാകുന്നത്. പ്രേക്ഷകന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ തൊടുന്ന കഥാസന്ദർഭങ്ങളും കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളും ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ മാറ്റു വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഒരു സംവിധായകനെന്ന നിലയിലുള്ള രഞ്ജിത് ശങ്കറിന്റെ കയ്യടക്കം ചിത്രത്തിലുടനീളം തെളിഞ്ഞു കാണാം. മനോഹരമായ ഒരു കവിതപോലെ ഈ കഥ പ്രേക്ഷകരുടെ മനസ്സിലേക്ക് പകർന്നു നൽകാനായത് രഞ്ജിത് ശങ്കറെന്ന കലാകാരന്റെ മികവ് തന്നെയാണെന്ന് അടിവരയിട്ടു പറയേണ്ടി വരും.
രാമനായി അഭിനയിച്ച കുഞ്ചാക്കോ ബോബൻ നൽകിയത് അതി ഗംഭീരമായ പ്രകടനമാണ്. അത്ര സ്വാഭാവികവും തീവ്രവുമായി ഈ കഥാപാത്രത്തെ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളാൻ കുഞ്ചാക്കോ ബോബന് കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്. കുഞ്ചാക്കോ ബോബൻ എന്ന ഈ നടന് വേണ്ടി സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ട കഥാപാത്രമായിരുന്നു ഇതെന്ന് തോന്നിക്കുന്ന രീതിയിൽ രാമന് ജീവൻ നല്കാൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തിനായി. പക്വതയാർന്ന പ്രകടനം കാഴ്ച വെച്ച അനു സിതാര കുഞ്ചാക്കോ ബോബന് ഒപ്പം നിന്നപ്പോൾ തിരശീലയിൽ അവരുടെ രസതന്ത്രം വളരെ മികച്ചതായി അനുഭവപെട്ടു. ഒരുപക്ഷെ മലയാള സിനിമയുടെ ഭാവിയിലെ ഒരു നിർണ്ണായക സാന്നിധ്യമായി മാറാൻ അനുവിന് കഴിഞ്ഞേക്കാം. മറ്റു പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങൾക്ക് ജീവൻ നൽകിയ അജു വർഗീസ്, ജോജു ജോർജ്, ഉദയ് കൃഷ്ണ, രമേശ് പിഷാരടി, ശ്രീജിത്ത് രവി, മുത്തുമണി എന്നിവർ തങ്ങളുടെ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളോട് നൂറു ശതമാനവും നീതി പുലർത്തി.
ജോജു അവതരിപ്പിച്ച എൽവിസ് എന്ന കഥാപാത്രം ഈ നടന്റെ കരിയറിലെ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച വേഷങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നായി മാറി. ചെറിയ വേഷങ്ങളിലൂടെ വന്നു കോമഡി കഥാപാത്രങ്ങൾ ചെയ്‌തു ഇപ്പോൾ സ്വഭാവനടനായി ജോജു കാണിക്കുന്ന വളർച്ച ഞെട്ടിക്കുന്നതാണ്. അത്ര മികച്ച രീതിയിൽ എൽവിസ് എന്ന കഥാപാത്രത്തിന്റെ മാനസിക സംഘർഷങ്ങളും ശരീര ഭാഷയും ജോജു പ്രേക്ഷകരുടെ മുന്നിലെത്തിച്ചു.

മനോഹരമായ ദൃശ്യങ്ങൾ ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പ്രേത്യേകതയായി മാറിയെന്നു പറയാം. രാമന്റെ ഏദൻ തോട്ടത്തിലെ മനസ്സ് നിറക്കുന്ന ദൃശ്യങ്ങൾ നമ്മുക്ക് സമ്മാനിച്ചത് മധു നീലകണ്ഠനാണ്. ബിജിപാൽ ഒരുക്കിയ സംഗീതം അതീവ ഹൃദ്യമായിരുന്നു. ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ മുന്നോട്ടുള്ള ഒഴുക്കിനെ അത് വളരെയധികം സ്വാധീനിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്ന് പറയാതെ വയ്യ. അത് പോലെ തന്നെ വി സാജൻ ഒരു എഡിറ്റർ എന്ന നിലയിൽ തന്റെ മികവ് പുലർത്തിയതും ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ മൊത്തത്തിലുള്ള പ്രയാണത്തെ ഒരുപാട് സഹായിച്ചു.
രാമന്റെ ഏദൻ തോട്ടം എന്തുകൊണ്ടും പ്രേക്ഷകരുടെ മനസ്സ് നിറക്കുന്ന ഒരു മനോഹര ചിത്രമാണ്. രസിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനൊപ്പം അല്പം ചിന്തിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു ഈ സിനിമ. മനസ്സിൽ തൊടുന്ന സിനിമാനുഭവങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ചേർത്ത് വെക്കാം ഈ രഞ്ജിത് ശങ്കർ ചിത്രത്തെയും.

If we consider the good messages "Ramante Edanthottam" conveys,it is a very good movie. But we can't call the movie entertaining. It drags post interval. In the climax, the central ideas are laid bare. The ideas are quite relevant in the money driven, patriarchal Kerala of the present.But that doesn't mean it will be a crowd puller. The institution of marriage and our relationship with nature are subjects the movie delve deep into. The movie is highly and beautifully philosophical on these issues.It is a good movie in that regard. Go if you prefer movies that satisfy your heart...

'രാമന്റെ ഏദൻതോട്ടം' അത് ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്ന ആശയങ്ങൾ പരിഗണിച്ചാൽ കാലികപ്രസക്തമാണ്.ഒരു വിനോദചിത്രത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് മലയാളികൾക്കുള്ള കാഴ്ചപ്പാടുകൾ പരിശോധിച്ചാൽ ഇതവർക്ക് രസിക്കണമെന്നില്ല.മനുഷ്യന്റെ പ്രക്രതിയോടുള്ള ബന്ധവും വിവാഹം എന്ന സ്ഥാപനവും അതിലെ ആൺ മേൽക്കോയ്മയും എല്ലാം പറയുന്നതിനൊപ്പം ജീവിതത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള മനോഹരമായ തത്വചിന്തകളും ഈ ചിത്രം പങ്ക് വയ്ക്കുന്നു....

Kunchako Boban starer Ramantae Ethan Thottam released today made an impressive opening by being an extremely beautiful and eye catching visual treat. The movie was released all over the state under the banner of Dreams N Beyond produced and directed by Ranjith Shankar on the script written by himself.

The visual treat is a mesmerising one, the nature at its best with the human intervention.

The plot revolves around Malini played by Anu sitara a women longing to be independent and her family problems resulting in various false incidents in her life. Malini sets on a travel to a resort managed by Kunchako boban an ideal nature love and his resort that’s in complete harmony with nature. The picture unfolds as Malini discovers her innerself.

The hit maker Renjith shankar did an exceptional job to give life to such an amazing script and including visual elements Of The nature, his directional skills which was noted passenger, varsham, punyalam agarbathies was portrayed by the director himself. The direction and script session being done by the maker himself did help me flick out the best from the scenes and actors.

The music is managed by Anil bijibal who did a great job with both the songs and BGM. The romantic songs and the those ones awakening the humanist nature lover in us is very notable. Cinematographer Madhu Neelakandan did an exceptional job, no words would be enough to appreciate his camera skills. The usage of colours in the frame is so fresh and eye catching, the angles used is so incredible and heartwarming. The editing is in the Safe hands of V. Sajan who kept the flow of screens proving beautiful picturising.

The performance of Kunchako boban is remarkable the way becomes a nature loving humanist is pretty astonishing. The character mannerism chakochan adopts as per the script is notable. The character being a motivator to Malini at the same time standing close to nature is brilliantly portrayed by the experienced actor. Anu sitara ruled the screen as per the script. She as City Girl touched the audience. Her intentions to be independent and the way she come put out of hardships using willpower is amazingly portrayed. It’s clear that Anu Stars has grown as an actress is ready to take up challenges.

The rest of the cast Joju George, Ramesh pisharody all did their roles with ease and elegance. The performance of Ramesh pisharody was fresh along with aju varghese

The movie is as expected a family entertainer with such natural beauty being exceptionally picturised. It’s an entertainer in all aspects and worth watching.
