Earlier this month, Prabhas finally began shooting his forthcoming action adventure film Saaho, which is being directed by Sujeeth Reddy. As per recent developments, Bollywood actor and television host Mandira Bedi will have a pivotal role in the film.

Mumbai Mirror quoted a source as saying, "Mandira, who plays a negative character called Kalki, was shooting in Hyderabad with Jackie till recently. They shot for some action sequences including hand-to-hand combat scenes. Their second schedule will commence shortly."

Recently, actors Jackie Shroff and Chunky Pandey were finalised for the supporting cast. The major highlight of Saaho is his solid cast which includes Neil Nitin Mukesh, Arun Vijay and Tinu Anand. The makers finalised Shraddha Kapoor as the leading lady after approaching Anushka Shetty, Disha Patani, Pooja Hegde and Sonam Kapoor.


Saaho is made on a budget of Rs 150 crore, and will release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. The film has music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Sabu Cyril is in charge of the production design.

Saaho is expected to release next year. The film will mark Prabhas's return to films after the Baahubali series. Prabhas dedicated his last six years to SS Rajamouli's epic, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
