Sshivada joins Indrajith and Biju Menon for a thriller



After playing the optimistic speech therapist Kalyani in Su...Su...Sudhi Vatmeekam and the bold bank employee Nitya in Sajid Yahiya's directorial debut, Sshivada has signed an emotional thriller next.

She will be the heroine of the yet-to-be-titled movie directed by Ansar Khan that stars Indrajith and Biju Menon in the lead. The movie scripted by filmmaker Jeethu Joseph, is based on Ansar's State Award-winning telefilm Mukhamukham.

"Sshivada is doing the female lead in my movie. I would prefer to be a bit secretive about her role. However, I can assure that the actress will be essaying a totally different role compared to her previous ones. The role will challenge her as an actress as it is a well fleshed-out character that requires her to perform well," says Ansar, who will be making his directorial debut with the film.


Sshivada confirms the news of her being part of the film and says, "I really loved the script. I have never played such a role before in my career. It has a fantastic theme and who would say no to a Jeethu Joseph script?"


The role would also entail a lot of travelling for the actress. Ansar reveals, "As a major chunk of the film will be shot in the forest, we will be travelling to different forests of Kerala for the shooting. Some of the sequences will also be shot in Mundakkayam and Kochi." The film will go on floors by end of October, as soon as Indrajith is done with the shooting of his movie Tiyaan.


Sshivada, meanwhile, is busy in Tamil with a thriller, directed by Rohin. In Malayalam, she will next be seen along with Jayasurya again in an upcoming action-comedy. The actress has also done a few action scenes in the movie, which also has Saiju Kurup and Joju George.
