THALA 57 ARRAMBAM!

To all those fans who were eagerly awaiting to know the progress of Thala57, here is a reason to feel excited and happy about it. The pooja of Ajith Kumar’s next film with director Siva is set to happen today, the 6th of July.

Ajith Kumar’s PRO Suresh Chandra officially confirmed this through his Twitter handle by posting “#Ak 57 pooja today @directorsiva @SathyaJyothi_ @anirudhofficial @AntonyLRuben @DoneChannel1 @KabilanVai”

Thala57, funded by Sathya Jyothi Films, has music by Anirudh, cinematography by Vetri, and editing by Ruben. Anushka is most likely to play the love interest of Ajith Kumar.

Thala 57 begins with an auspicious pooja

Sify.com had already reported that Thala 57 will commence before the inauspicious Aadi maasam (July 16). Today (July 6), the team has launched the film with a traditional pooja in Chennai. To be produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, Anirudh Ravichander will be composing music for the film, Vetri will handle the camera, Antony L Ruben is in charge of cuts and Milan will take care of the art department.

Though names like Anushka Shetty are being speculated, the film’s director Siva is yet to officially announce the female lead. Touted to be a stylish action entertainer, major portions of the film are likely to be shot in foreign locales.

Finally the wait is over...!!! After keeping us in the waiting mode for long, the official launch and pooja of Thala Ajith's 57th film will happen in Chennai today.

The film will be directed by Siva who has delivered two super hits 'Veeram' and 'Vedalam' with Ajith. The yet to be titled film currently referred to as 'Thala 57' will be produced by the prestigious Sathya Jyothi Movies banner. The film is touted to be a action flick that will be reportedly shot in various locations across Europe.

Anushka is likely to play the lead lady opposite Ajith in this film. Anirudh Ravichander who delivered super hit songs for 'Vedalam' has been retained for the musical score. Kabilan Vairamuthu the younger son of veteran lyricist Vairamuthu has been involved in this project and we have to wait to know whether his role will be limited to lyrics for the songs or he has also taken part in script discussion.

Cinematographer Vetri and Editor Anthony Ruben are the other prominent crew members retained from 'Vedalam' for 'Thala 57'. Anu Vardhan will design the ultra modern costumes for Ajith in this film.

Ajith's manger Suresh Chandra has confirmed that the pooja of 'Thala 57' will take place today.

Ajith who underwent a surgery after the release of 'Vedalam' in November 2015 took rest as advised by doctors for several months and he is now back with a bang to what the business.

சென்னை: தல அஜித் நடிக்கும், இன்னும் பெயரிடப்படாத தல 57 பட பூஜை இன்று நடைபெறும் என்று அதிகாரப்பூர்வமான தகவல்கள் வெளியாகியுள்ளது.

அஜித், இயக்குனர் சிவா கூட்டணியில் வீரம், வேதாளம் என இரண்டு படங்கள் பெரும் வெற்றி பெற்றதை தொடர்ந்து, இருவர் கூட்டணி அடுத்த படத்திலும் தொடரும் என தகவல்கள் வெளியாகியிருந்தது அனைவருக்கும் தெரியும்.
