Gorgeous beauty Kajal Agarwal's career is at an all time low currently. From the past 1 year, most of her films tanked badly at the box-office. Delivering back-to-back disasters like 'Sardaar' and 'Brahmotsavam' made it tough for Kajal to sustain in the race. But, she is trying to bounce back now with some interesting projects in her kitty.

According to latest reports, Kajal bagged a crazy project with Tamil star Ajith. Getting such a big project at this time is really a boon for her. Apart from that, she is currently working with 'Rangam' fame Jeeva and Vikram. She is having only one film in Telugu under Teja's direction starring Rana. Sources say that she is demanding very less remuneration in Kollywood which made producers opt for Kajal instead of other beauties.

FOR THE FIRST TIME WITH AJITH?

Thala 57 or AK 57 is slowly adding members to its cast list. We had reported that Kajal Agarwal is the heroine in this venture and Thambi Ramaiah has also been roped in to play a pivotal role.

Now sources in the knowhow hint that Karunakaran has been brought on board to play the role of a comedian in the film.

Karunakaran continues to prove his versatility in the characters that he is essaying which must have fetched him this role. If it comes through, interestingly, this will be the first time that the Soodhu Kavvum actor will be sharing screen space with Thala Ajith. First schedule of Thala57 in Bulgaria

According to sources close to team Thala57, the first schedule of the film will commence by August first week in Bulgaria. We hear that Ajith is playing a stylish role in the film, few say that the actor will be seen as a gangster while others say that he plays an interpol officer. Director Siva hasn’t revealed anything about the story and character of Ajith.

Kajal Aggarwal has been confirmed to play the heroine in the film and the team is currently looking for a second heroine, who can perform well. Anirudh Ravichander is composing music for the film and Vetri will be handling the camera.

PRASANNA THE BADDIE FOR AJITH?

The team of Thala 57 to be directed by Siva is steadily choosing its cast members for its various characters. While Kajal Agarwal and Thambi Ramaiah have been roped in, reports suggest that Karunakaran may hop on board for the role of a comedian in the film.

It cannot be disputed that for the role of a hero to powerfully appear on screen, the film needs an equally intense and intimidating antagonist. That’s when the conflict between the hero and villain would not appear one-sided and will be perfectly balanced.

While there are many names for the villain character for Ajith in AK 57 are considered, the latest rumors hint that Prasanna may do the honors for this role in the film. It has to be recalled that Prasanna was his menacing best in Mysskin’s Anjadhey which earned him huge plaudits. It sure would appear as a refreshing casting if it materializes.
